Sarah tapped at the screen of her phone to check the time and sighed.

I'm still in time.

Her fingers were feeling cold because of the colder atmosphere from last night's rain. The winter season is getting started, she thought and was about to push the phone back in her pocket but stopped walking when she felt a presence following her. She turned her head around to see if someone is really there but her eyes met with the empty desolate road with just cold air and no single person.

It was exceptionally very vacant which was making unease grow in the pit of her stomach.

She continued in her path and the sound of her steps increased with the noise of the wet road beneath her shoes. Once in a while, as she glanced back when she felt the presence again, she found nothing but uncanny silence.

She grew more and more alarmed and increased her walking speed to escape this street as soon as she could.

Soon some vehicles and people walking around came into her view and she ran over to the familiar café near her uni. She took a deep breath to calm her heartbeat down and glanced behind her again.

Was it just my imagination? She thought. Maybe I didn't get enough sleep last night.

She shaked her head and as she raised her hand to push the door open, she saw the perfect handsome face in the distance laughing and smiling as always and an unknown kind of relief spread across her chest making her feel calm and protected.

She saw him through the glass of the door and he was talking to some people who sat on the other side of the coffee table but she couldn't see who those people were as a pillar blocked the view.

She entered the door and heard some laughs and talks from the table.

Who is it? She was curious who he is talking to so she neared the table but stopped suddenly as she saw two familiar persons sitting there with nothing but joy on their faces.

"Viv-Vivianne? Cassandra?"

They all looked at her as she spoke from a corner, unable to do anything else but stare at them quizzically.

"Oh, you're here?" Vivianne stood up and told her to take a seat.

Sarah was at her apartment since she didn't have a morning lecture today when she got a call from Max saying that he wanted to discuss something about their assignment. But when she reached there, the scene was fully beyond her expectations.

Her friends were laughing and joking around with someone who is supposed to be their sworn enemy for God's sake!

She was unable to grasp the situation in front of her but nevertheless she took a seat as Max pulled out a chair.

"Hey raspberry, how are you today?" he whispered slowly so that only she heard him. She threw a hard glance at him.

"I swear if you did anything to them-" she was about to curse him but Vivianne interrupted.

"So he's that perfumer of yours, isn't he?" Vivianne asked in a teasing way to her.

What the hell? Did he tell her about that?

"Perfumer?" Max asked, confused what they were talking about.

Sarah blushed. So he doesn't know. But why's she bringing that up now?!

"Yeah, a perfumer who said-"

"Guys, can anybody fill me in what're you two doing here?" She cut Vivianne off before she could say anything else. "And why are you talking with him like you know him?"
