"Ben, what are you doing here?" She asked, surprised at the coincidence.

He turned his head to her as he noticed someone just called his name. He widened his eyes as he saw her and laughed, "What are you doing here?"

"I came with my friends," Sarah gestured to her friends while she observed a girl standing by him. She looked somehow familiar with her ash brown hairs curled into ringlets, big lips covered in dark red lipstick, and hazel eyes with big eyelashes which were fake.

"Oh this is my girlfriend. I came here to shop some things for her," he told her, "Her name's Katherine. Katherine, this is Sarah, Max's girlfriend."

He introduced both of them while Sarah quailed and cringed inwardly as the way he chose to introduce her as Max's girlfriend.

She surveyed her and her friends and the corner of her lips quirked up as she sneered, "I see."

Sarah frowned. What's wrong with this girl?

"I assume since you're here for shopping, you're gonna attend tomorrow's party?" She asked with a crooked smile. "I hope to meet you there too."

"Uh, yeah sure," she replied with a smile but she wasn't so sure about the genuineness of that smile because of some strange feelings.

"I'm getting late, Ben. Dad's gonna scold me," she said and turned on her heels leaving everyone behind her offended.

"I'm sorry, she comes off a bit rude sometimes," he laughed, "Well then, I'll see you later?"

"Yeah, bye," Sarah replied and he turned around, following Katherine to the exit.

She turned to her friends and found them launching fire at the back of his girlfriend. They gave off vibes like they were about to go murder her.

"Guys?" She called out to them.

"Did you see how she looked at us?" Cassie murmured.

"Yeah, like we're some meager low-class people and she's a fucking queen of somewhere," Viv replied with disgust in her tone.

"Would you prefer a baseball bat or a knife?"

"Knife, for sure."

"GUYS!"

They turned their heads suddenly towards her as though her voice had just pulled them out from their own evil world.

"You can't just plan someone's murder out in public like that!" She exclaimed with horror.

"Oh," they said and looked at each other in realization, "We should plan it in a more isolated place." They nodded in deep thought.

"Oh, my goodness! You're unbelievable," she said and went into the elevator.

"What about this?" Cassie asked excitedly as she held up a mint coloured off shoulder bodycon dress in her hands to show her.

"No," Sarah scrunched up her face and declined for the fiftieth time in a row.

"Why? It's sexy," she looked over at the dress, pouting.

"This! This is perfect!" Vivianne exclaimed, suddenly appearing out from behind the high row of hangers of clothes and swung a white mermaid cowl neck dress in front of them. She looked between both of them with sparkly eyes, asking them what they think of it.

"It just won't suit you," Cassandra said, comparing the dress with Vivianne's style.

"It won't?" She asked, the sparkles fading away from her eyes and lips turning to a pout just like when Sarah declined Cassie.
