Later in the day, the sun was shining brightly, painting the sky a vibrant blue and making the lush greenery glisten in its rays.

It was the perfect day to relax by the pool.

Upon arriving at the Summer House, the three teenage girls wasted no time changing into their swimsuits. Taylor opted for a tiny light blue bikini, Belly wore her new purple bikini, and Sarah chose a black bikini.

Part of Sarah wanted to show off and wow everyone with how much she had grown, how she was a real girl now, but the more rational part of her knew it would be risky. Liam would throw a towel over her head, making her feel like a child again. Despite this, she didn't let it bother her.

Taylor, Belly and Sarah were gathered at the deep end of the pool, catching each other up on what had happened in the last couple of days.

"Conrad is going to lose his mind when he sees you in that bikini." Taylor remarked. "It looks so cute on you, with your blonde hair and especially with your new boobs."

"I highly doubt it. I don't think he really cares." Sarah replied nonchalantly.

"Oh, come on, Sar." Taylor protested, tilting her head back.

"No, I'm serious. We had a big fight last night." Sarah revealed.

Taylor looked puzzled. "Wait, what?"

"He was so rude to her. He told her to look in the mirror some more." Belly added.

"What the fuck?!"

"Anyway..." Sarah trailed off, attempting to change the subject. She turned to Belly. "What's going on between you and Jeremiah? When did you start liking him?"

Belly blushed and smiled shyly. "Actually, for the past two summers... I don't know... he's just so handsome, sweet, and protective. He seems like the perfect guy. He always made sure to include me in everything."

"I think it's adorable." Sarah commented with a smirk. "I can totally see you two together."

Taylor glanced over to the other end of the pool, where Steven, Jeremiah and Liam were gathered. "We know you're gossiping about us over there."

"Yeah, you wish!" Steven shouted.

Taylor gasped. "Let's play chicken."

"No." Belly and Sarah declined simultaneously.

"Yes."

"Not chicken. I was like twelve the last time we played." Belly reminded.

"Oh, come on, it'll be hilarious." Taylor urged

"Hey, I'm down." Liam chimed in from across the pool.

Jeremiah nodded in agreement. "Me too. Come on, Steven."

"Fine." Steven reluctantly agreed.

Sarah grinned mischievously as she swiftly swam towards her brother. The two of them often collaborated to navigate tricky situations, to trick or lie to their parents, and most importantly, tackle challenges as a team against the Conklins and Fishers.
