I didn't even have time to make it to the office before the doors flew open and the baddest, scariest bitch of the west strode in. The clicking of her leather heeled boots demanded authority. Her outfit was one that not all people her age would pick. After all I am 21 and and lack the amount of skinny pants in her closet. Not to mention that I wasn't as "gifted" up top as her. She gave me lots of body issues growing up with her. With everything I think she did wrong though. I would never change her. I saw her finally find me and her pace picked up as she strode to me. She held me like a mother would and just as I fully leaned into her, she ripped away from me and then reality happened she straightened up and slapped me across the face.

It felt like everyone was looking at us waiting for the next step. People who were in the club house came out even. I however, didn't notice until I instinctually grabbed my cheek and said, "what the fuck you crazy bitch" then I knew I should of just kept my mouth shut. Boy did I get a lecture about "leaving the family" and "not visiting". My mother's best friend Luanne cam out from behind her and hugged me close, "oh baby she just misses you. I misses you too, but I am very proud of you" she handed me an envelope, "Otto and I wanted to get you a little something for your graduation, after all you are practically a daughter and I know that if I ever had a daughter I would of wanted her to be like you" She gave me another hug and then the clicking of here heels followed my own mothers. I turned around and like all those times I did when I lived in charming I went behind the bar and poured a shot and pour a string stiff jack and coke and a red solo. Clay say at the bar and asked me to get him a beer. When I placed it at the bar, before I could take my hand off the bottle he wrapped his hands around mine and said. "Tammy, my doll, your mother, Gamma, she missed you. Please let's have a nice dinner tonight. Gemma got all your favorite foods and everything. Just you, and Jax with Gemma and I. Then tomarrow we can celebrate with the club." I smiled at the wise old man. He was never particular emotional but you can always tell when he spoke with pure love. "Sure thing Clay, I love you" he just nodded and got off the bar stool waving me off "love you too baby doll"

Half sack came out from the back grinning. I had too much emotion today, "what half-sack? Finally find a girl turned on by one ball sack?" He had a sneaky look on his face and replied, "No, I just think you try to seem more hard then you really are. That little moment with Clay was cute" My jaw dropped, I pulled my towel and started whipping him telling him off. Eventually he got me and took the towel with one hand holding me with the other arm. "Oh come on Tammy, I wasn't about to ruin that moment with your step dad it was cute. Either way that why I love this club." The moment felt a little serious after I got out of his grip and could hear him whisper. "Everyone is family, I haven't felt that since I left the army" I hugged him and let go after I herd the doors fly open and almost everyone that was working came inside. Tig after seeing our embrace came up to the bar with Chibs and Piney getting shots since the working day was over. Tig got that creeper look in his eye and Leaned over the bar to look half-sac in the eye and say "so getting a little close to the bosses daughter ehh" I walked around the bar and hugged piney leaning against him and told Tig. "Be nice it's not like that. Besides don't scare him off I like having some one my age who has a lot in common with me." I didn't even see Juice but he walked up getting a beer and scoffing, "oh like what? I'm pretty sure you just have a thing for prospects" that hurt me good.

The thing that sucks the most about his comment was I couldn't fight it. I just got up and left. After all the club comes first and you don't start shit between brothers, even if one is just a prospect. Every Time I begin to feel good about myself Juice is always there to make sure that doesn't happen. Ironic considering he used to do the opposite.
