I grinned as he jogged away. Kept my focus on the paper. Geeze since my mother's car crash she has really let the paperwork go. I rubbed my head for a big and walked outside for a smoke. I watched as the clock stoke 5pm and all the club members filled on inside, leaving me and the mechanics outside.

When Juice came out he had a conflicted look on his face. I kissed his cheek and held his hand rubbing it. Juice ran inside to get something from the clubhouse for tonight as we closed the shop. Tara and mom where there waiting for their men too. I went to Chibs to get the VIN for an unclaimed van. Chibs towed it out to the front and I grabed my note book to write down the description. Chibs went inside to start it and it started beeping so he took my hand and run. It was like I was flying and then nothing.

It's cold in the dark. I would of thought quiet too, but instead it was all the noise, first all i her was a high pitched noise, then when that wore off I herd people yelling, machines going beep.

I hate it when people romanise injuries. I didn't wake up at once. I would wake up and then go back to sleep. There was multiple wires attached to me. Over my heart, my face, an IV. Found that little morphine button and pressed the shit out of it. I would wake up to nurses every now and then through out the day. The worst nurse visit was when they pulled this tube out of my nose when I first woke up. Mom came in at one point. She hugged me and just held me in the bed for about twenty minutes, no one said a word. She played with my hair, just like when I saw sick as a child. Hale came in and sat on my bed holding my hand, I grinned at him and let out, "Geez Hale quit looking at me like im on my death bed its just a broken arm and some stiches." I
He squeezed my good hand and said, "we are all very lucky, Chibs took most of the impact. He even had his hand around your head that stopped a lot of the head trauma. His bleeding has stopped but he hasn't woken up yet. The hospital says you can get released tomorrow." I squeezed his hand back, "thanks Hale, it is always good seeing you as an old friend instead of a cop" he kissed my forehead, "we grew up together, I will always care about you" I laughed a bit. "Remember when I had a huge crush on you when I was ten" he laughed a bit, "yeah too bad you were just a bit young " It was nice having a little light at the end of the tunnel, a silver lining for when I got out. I went to call Juice, but he never answered. I just really want for him not to be emotional about this. I'm not dead, don't ddive in head first to the club like Opie did after Donna.

Mom picked me up after I was released. Turns out all the boys were arrested. Otto was attacked.
I was basically on bed rest, can't go to work for the next few days. Like that ever stopped me. All that means to me was that I basically moved into the clubhouse. Elli and Kenny were just hanging in the shop with me while Gemma got Nita to watch them. Opie headed out for a errand from Clay. I think this means the boys will at least have protection. I got a call from Opie just to keep me up to date, Juice was stabbed in prison and sent to the infirmary. But it seems like he will be fine. I can't believe it. Stabbed twice in the back. This would be easier if Happy wasn't in with them. I need to see Kozik. I can't go into work for a few days anyways so I picked up my phone and good old Kozik answered on the second ring.

"Dear god Tammy, I herd what happened. I am so glad you are alive..."

That phone call was just what I needed. Life began to turn around after that. I still stayed in bed all day, I just never actually got any rest but one night a miracle happened. Not long after, on one of the days I couldn't sleep, I was in the office pulling a late night with Gemma when Elliot came in. I guess Gemma went to talk to him about the guys bail, something she didn't discuss with me for "stress makes it harder to heal", whatever she said to him, or apparently Trinity, worked because he was posting the guys bail.

I began to smile and I stretched my arms out to hug him, but ended up pulling at some stitches and pulled then down. Elliot looked to me and said, " I am sorry about the explosion, I am glad to see you are up and moving. Your family helped mine so I guess it is time for me to help them." With that he shook my hand and headed off. Gemma took hold of me and led me to her SUV so we could get some sleep before the boys leave.

Sleeping in my mother's home was comfortable. Once my head hit the pillow, for the first time in a long time I got actual sleep.

Mother woke me up early and helped me get ready to see the boys. We waited in the office with Tara until the van pulled in.

This home welcoming was different from the others. No one ran and hugged each other. No one was smiling. Then the weirdest of all. Most of the men walked straight into the clubhouse, and Jax walked off to the garage. All by himself.
