5k *HAPPY DANCE* OH MY GAWD GUYS YOU'RE THE BEST EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! So a lot of you guys got a bit confused in my last chapter as to whether James was a CHASER or a SEEKER. Guys, it's fanfiction, it doesn't have to be exactly correct, because it's ours- right? But, he was a chaser, and switched to a seeker. But at least I can tell that you actually do read my stories and that you pay attention to notice little details like that!
Lots of love💗💗"Morning!" Lily trotted into the hospital wing, carrying a large silver flask.
"Morning, Sunshine!" He smiled at her, making her blush "So what have you brought me today?"
"I brought you some chicken noodle soup and Sirius, Remus and Peter are coming down later to see you." She smiled, pouring the contents of the flask into a bowl.
"Ah, thanks." He grinned, as Lily placed the bowl onto his lap.
"Are you feeling any better?" She asked him, perching on the side of the bed.
"Little bit, my arms still in this stupid sling and I can't stand up... but other than that, I'm fine." He shrugged, shovelling some soup in his mouth.
"Good." She chuckled "Listen... I kind of need to-"
"It's fine." He laughed, knowing exactly what she was going to say. "Go to class."
"I'll come and see you later, yeah?" She said.
"Yeah." He smiled.
"Bye!" She waved behind her, sauntering out of the hospital wing.
"Bye!" He waved back.

"So now class..." Professor Binns carried on about some goblin history... they weren't really listening to be honest.
"Those two sure are connected at the hip lately, huh?" Remus said to Lily, nodding in the direction of Sirius and Marlene.
"I think it's kind of cute. They're such a perfect fit." Lily shrugged, looking at the couple at the back of the classroom.
"I guess so." He sighed.
~ 5 days later ~
"Argh." James moaned, endlessly walking around the hospital wing "I'm so boreddddddddddddddddddddddd."
He pressed his forehead against the window, watching all of the happy students sitting outside, laughing and talking. He couldn't help but wish that he was there too. Madam Pomphrey walked into the hospital wing, carrying a rather full cup of a mysterious liquid.
"Ayeeee Poppy come talk to me." He put one of his arms out, the other still in the sling.
"Mr. Potter, I told you specifically not to call me that, drink." She demanded, shoving the glass into James' hand.
"Bottoms up." He raised his glass before swigging down a huge gulp of the liquid, as if he were drunk (which I am entitled to point out that he wasn't). "Eugh, is there anything that could actually taste worse?!" He pulled the most unattractive face ever once the drink had settled.
"If you want to get better, then one more sip." He raised her eyebrows at him.
"Fine." He talked to her like she were his mother, taking another gulp of the drink. "This will make me sick."
"On the contrary, it will make you better." She turned on her heel, walking away, getting bombarded in the doorway by someone who was carrying quite a lot of books.
"Lily!"
"Hi. James." She panted, heaving her books onto one of the windowsills in the hospital wing.
"You carried these all the way here?" He asked, flicking through the book on the top of the pile.
"Yeah, the top three are yours. Since you're left handed and your right arm is in a sling I thought-" she wheezed.
"Lils, you're not going to make me do my school work when I'm in this state?" He pleaded sarcastically.
"No," she breathed, leaning on her knees for support "I just thought you could flick through them, you know, catch up on last weeks work."
"But-"
"Or you'll have to do the full thing when you get back to class." She said, sternly.
"Fine." He pouted, his glasses slipping down to the end of his nose.
"So when are you getting the sling off?" She asked, pushing James' glasses back up his nose, straightening her robes.
"Tomorrow, hallelujah." He sighed, smiling.
"I'm going to go down and get some food now, I'll bring you some back up if you want?" She asked him, sitting down on the edge of his bed.
"Nah, I'll be fine." He said, not wanting to cause her any more trouble.
"I'll see you in the morning." She put a hand on his arm and squeezed it, before leaving the room, flashing him a smile.
He went and led down on his bed, picking up the transfiguration book Lily had left him. He flicked through a couple of pages before he found the initials LE in the corner of a page- in his hand writing. Where did Lily get one of my... damn it Sirius! He thought, mentally noting to hex Sirius for that. Wait, if she had his books then she must have seen all this! He had doodled her name on almost every page of the book. Luckily, no one was there to see him blush.

Lily walked down into the great hall, she couldn't see Marlene, Sirius, Peter (but honestly, she never knew where Peter was) except Remus. He looked pale and was shaking. She approached him slowly.
"Remus are you okay?" She asked him, sitting down next to him.
"N-n-no Lily I need your help." he fumbled in his pocket before pulling out a blank piece of parchment.
"With what?"
"Lily this is the Marauders map. 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'." He muttered quickly before the ink started to appear on the parchment. "Sirius, Marlene and Peter are having trouble with Slytherins in the dungeons and James is in the hospital wing and... and its the full moon. Lily,"
"Remus, say no more. Let's go." She instantly understood, grabbing the map and her and Remus running out of the castle.
"The shrieking shack." He panted, "Hide under the floorboards when I'm transformed, I won't be able to get to you."
"IMMOBULUS!" She screamed at the whomping willow, her and Remus scrambling down the hole.
She heard Remus moaning in pain, not far from transforming, she smashed the door open, cutting her arm in several places. Diving under the floorboards and cutting her lip, she heard faint growls from the space above her. She was breathing heavily, pressed against the floor, shaking with fear, and pain. Clutching the map in her hand, she saw Sirius and Peter's dots moving rapidly towards her.
Up above, the werewolf could smell blood; Lily's blood. He let out a deafening howl as she heard the bark of a dog. Her heart was pounding, wishing that this was just a nightmare. She heard scrambling and winces with pain.
Minutes later the noise died down, as if the two animals had no energy left in them to fight. The shaggy dog was crouched under the bed, the werewolf on top.
However long Lily was there, she didn't know, because she blacked out.
