Happy New Year everyoneeeeee!!!!
Let's hope that 2016 is going to be even better than 2015!
Lots of love and enjoy the chapter!💗"Hey, erm Lils?" James went and sat down next to Lily on the sofa in their common room.
"Yeah?" She closed her book, placing it down on the table and looking at him.
"There's another Quidditch match coming up..." He continued slowly.
"Yeah..."
"And I was wondering if... um... you would wear my Gryffindor scarf? You know, good luck right?" He was breathing heavily as he spoke, nervous for her answer.
Lily's mind was racing. You were only supposed to wear a players scarf if you were like... together. I mean, she had waited for it for a long time, like a couple of hours before when they kissed. So if he was going to do it, she thought, he's going to do it properly.
"Is there something else you wanted to ask me first?" She raised her eyebrows at him, signalling him to ask.
James racked his brains. What does she mean?... OH! That! How could he have been so stupid? He should have asked her to be his girlfriend first... before the scarf thing. Well, he was glad she had pointed it out because he had completely forgotten.
"Oh, that. Yeah, well... do you want to... be my... girlfriend?" He asked nervously, looking at the floor, the confidence snapped out of him.
"Yes." She answered without hesitation. She lifted his chin to look at her, watching a smile play at his lips with her answer. "You know, I could get used to the shy James Potter." She smiled.
"Well it's only when I ask important questions to important people." He smirked, regaining his confidence by the second. Lily was his girlfriend. Girlfriend! How many times had he dreamed of this moment? A LOT.
She sighed happily, then was surprised at James' actions because he pulled her onto his lap. She squealed at him picking her up, yet shivering at his touch.
"So are you going to wear my scarf at the match then?" He asked her seriously, and she nodded, smiling. "Do I have permission to kiss you?"
She nodded once more, as he pulled her in for their second kiss in a day. She was curled up in his lap, and his arms were wrapped around her- literally. The kiss was slow and soft, both of them enjoying every moment.

"Mar?" Alice asked Marlene, setting down her purse on the dresser. Marlene grumbled, allowing her to continue her to speak. "Do you know where Lily is?"
"No, actually, I haven't seen her all day." Marlene flapped her magazine closed and left it on her bed. "Where d'you think she'll be?"
"She seems to be spending a lot of time with James lately..." Alice enquired, raising her eyebrows at Marlene.
"She does, doesn't she?" Marlene wiggled her eyebrows at her, making the both giggle. "I'll go find her."
"Good luck." Alice said to her, following her out, as to go and find Frank.

"What. The. Hell." Marlene jaw dropped as she saw the two people a couple of yards away from her.
Lily had her legs on James' lap, and on top of that, was Quidditch through the ages. They seemed to be playfully quarrelling over something in the book. They were also holding hands. They were sat under the large oak tree next to the black lake. They weren't, fighting, hexing each other... had Marlene entered an alternate universe?!
