Alyssa Velaryon was much like her brothers in many ways, she was strong willed, kind natured and had a fiery temper. However, there were a few things that made her different, for starters she had to claim the dragon Silverwing as her dragon egg never hatched. Apart from that there was also her appearance which marked her as different.
Whilst her brothers had the dark features from their Father, Alyssa had the Targaryen features like her Mother Rhaenyra. Her hair was silver and straight and her eyes a light shade of purple. It was obvious enough that her brothers were bastards but Alyssa, being the second eldest after Jace, wasn't so sure about herself. She had the Valyrian features but still heard rumours about her own parentage around the Keep.
She had never been close with her mother's half siblings, she got along well enough with Helaena but tried to avoid her mother's half brothers. They had never paid much attention to her, she knew however that they would train with her own brothers so she tried to keep the peace.
Throughout her childhood on Dragonstone Alyssa had spent her time playing amongst her brothers, sneaking into the yard to train with them when she could, and reading to the youngest one Joffrey. But now she is seven and ten and the family is returning to King's Landing on the morrow.
