on a random day, you hit the follow button when I don't think of you
are you reminiscing about our thing in the past? what are you up to?
remember when we first met, you opened the door, fell by the floor
we didn't anticipate that for us, a following 12 months was in store
are you scrolling through our previous conversations I've deleted?
I remember the ways you're supposed to love, getting it all wrong
never thought of a time I won't mind how we finished ill-fated
a million miles away from you, more days away we should prolong
do you still have a few photos of our clandestine encounters?
do you remember complaining we've lost our spark for hours?
although I'm pleased, you're somewhere you've wanted to be
yet, you'll never be cheery for my success after setting me free
don't you agree?
you were no different from the person I loved before you
remember how I hated them, you would hate on them too
neither of us two expected you'd do the same thing too
before you left the country, we didn't talk, leaving you in rue
with time, gradually, you lost your significance in my life
'tis the greatest thing that occurred, a love meant to die
buried down the grave, destined to cross its afterlife
a heart survived after all the whys and wasted tries
