"Sometimes, it takes a good fall to really Know where you stand."
A A H I L -
Cladded in a three piece raven-black suit, his eyes were sore, it seems like he hasn't had a proper sleep for weeks but who cares for sleep? Definitely not him. His hairs that were perfectly set previously were known to be messy because of how many times he had run his fingers in his hairs. Aahil had that famous emotionless expression on his face as he walked through the hall of the building.
With his hand in his pocket, he walked like the king he was. His aura screamed power and intimidation.
"Good morning Aahil Sir."
His guard wished him, he gave him a small nod and headed towards his cabin but on the way to his cabin his assistant stopped him.
"Sir, Arsalan sir has called you in his cabin."
Shoving his head in his pocket he lazily went into his father's cabin, without knocking the door. Arsalan looked at his son and glared at him.
"stupid."
Arsalan muttered under his breath, Aahil rolled his eyes at the compliment and gave him a smile. - a fake one.
"I heard you, dad."
Aahil said giving him a sarcastic smile, Arsalan sultan rolled his eyes and said-
"That's good, you must know what you are, anyways i had something important to tell you."
Arsalan said, his eyes were fixed on his laptop screen. Aahil settled on the chair in front of his father, he nodded his head at him to continue.
"You had to get married in a month."
Arsalan Sultan's calm composure irritated Aahil because he knew his father's words didn't seem easy as he was speaking, Aahil looked at father, he was causally dropping a bomb to him. Arsalan Sultan controlled his laughter seeing his facial expression which has changed in few minutes.
"What? Dad you might be joking and if you're joking I'm not in a mood for jokes, I'm already worried about -"
"I'm not joking, bete sahab."
Arsalan Sultan cutted him in between, again Aahil looked at him with a thousand questions in his mind but he wasn't getting a proper sentences to frame those questions.
"Dad, how could be this possible? Marriage means commitment and why you wanted to ruin a innocent life of someone else in the name of marriage.
Aahil hated the idea of marriage because of his past relationships, he had dated a few girls and tried to find his peace in them but all of them were behind his money and this made Aahil to lose his trust in love but less then he knew he was trying to find peace in haram.
"I'm not ruining any innocent life and so what marriage means commitment? You're getting married, you need to get married and it's final decision of mine. And ofcourse your mother also wants you to get married so there is no chance of you saying no."
The glass of water was bumped on desk making it crack, Aahil's veins popped out, his anger was rising and so was his blood pressure.
Arsalan sultan sighed and crossed his arms on the desk. Aahil rubbed his forehead in frustration, he didn't want someone innocent to be the part of his messy life, being a famous mafia around the country there was his enemy in each point and moreover he didn't want to risk the life of someone who is all innocent in this.
"Dad please stop the act and tell me why you wanted me to get married all of a sudden?"
Aahil wasn't believing him there are some other reasons, he knew his father would not force him, Arsalan sighed.
