There is a pain in silence.
Z A Y N A -
The backyard was Zayna's favourite place, as usually it was silent, in this silence she found peace. She had decorated it with flowers and fairy lights, no one in the house came here except her.
"Did your parents sent their child to another country without getting worried, you might be so small for travelling alone?"
The question made her speechless, she didn't have any answer, she remained quiet. Aahil looked at her, he didn't felt guilty for asking this, this was a genuine question for him.
"Seems like you don't have any answer.",
He shortly asked her, which seems so rude to her, she rolled her eyes at the rude behaviour. He sighed and looked her, she was looking down. His eyes fell on her princess ring which was in her hand. He has seen same type of prince ring in someone else's finger but whom? He didn't remember.
"What are the qualities you want in you life partner?"
Zayna questioned him hesitantly escaping from this topic, as that topic was making her chest feel pain.
"Nothing special."
He said, his sentence annoyed zayna more, maybe he is good only in looks.
"And you?"
He questioned her back in formality.
"Someone who loves me, who can understand me, who respect my family but also someone who fears Allah and is pious."
Aahil knew he lacked those two qualities, he don't how to love and pious? He doesn't even know how to pray, last time he had gone to mosque when he was around 12 years old but his father and brother was opposite of him. They were more religious and knew more about their religion then him. He nodded and looked down. His relationship with Allah was none, for him it was dunya. And then he didn't think about or he knew he was the opposite of her.
Again an awkward silence fell between them, while she was admiring the view, Aahil was having an inner battle with himself. Should he be straightforward with her? Maybe he should.
"Look, umh, i- i just wanted to clear some things."
He said, clearing his throat and dared to look at her. Her modesty interested him, why she is covering herself up and down when she can show it. He didn't understand this.
"I am marrying for the sake of my family, I will never be able love, don't keep any types of hopes from me but yes I can support you financially."
Zayna was quite shocked, she looked at him with wide eyes. She didn't know what to say and maybe her last hopes of a happy life ended with his words. She was trapped in this mafia world, first her family then her husband. She couldn't run away. She found herself nodding at his words that she would run away. She silently went back to the living while Aahil followed her. He had sensed that she might be angry or upset with his words.
"Oh you guys come, we were about to leave."
Arsalan said while smiling at Zayna and Aahil, he had patted Zayna's forehead. Zayna felt like a cupid, she was always used by her father, whether in business or at home. He had never allowed her to make choices of her own, it's her life, it's her decision but all the rights they had snatched from her. A lone tear escapes from her eye thinking all of this which didn't go unnoticed by Aahil, she quickly wipes it.
Aahil sighed knowing she was also forced in this drama like him, she looked at him who was already looking at her, their eyes met before they both shifted their gaze away.
He felt guilty for saying all those words to her but he can do nothing, he is already frustrated from his life.
They were going to bond together and only Allah can stop this marriage from happening. But what if it was Allah who had written this chapter in their destiny?

Zayna was sitting on the bed, thinking about how her life had taken a u-turn, she chuckled at her destiny. Her chains of thoughts were broken by Ashinoor who had come into her and shutting the door harshly, zayna glared at her for actions."Why don't you fight for your rights, Zayna? Why did you let him choose for you? Allah ne aurat ko ikhtiyar diya hai apna shohar khud choose krne ka, apne rights use krna seekho. Aur rahi baat baba jaan ki then let me tell you this he is just using you in his games."
Ashinoor said she was fuming in anger because of the cupid he had made zayna in his business. zayna was confused by her words. She was standing in front of zayna, her arms crossed around her chest. Though Zayna was taller than ashinoor but she was sitting on a bed so her frame looked small.
"What do you mean?"
Zayna Curiously questioned making ashinoor sigh. She sat on the bed and turned towards zayna.
"Ohh God, zayna, it's already understood, babajaan is marrying you off to Aahil Bhai because he thinks that this will give him profit to his business. He can do business deal with them."
Zayna looked at Ashinoor, a lone tear escaped from her eye she quickly wiped it as she didn't like to show her weak point to anyone, how stupid was she thinking that her father really cared for her. But then again who cares for her?
"I was too stupid to think that babajaan really cared for me."
She said and smiled bitterly. Ashinoor slowly nodded her head.
"You are so soft hearted."
Ashinoor said and squeezed her hand assuringly. She chuckled at her faith, what the game it has played with her. Aahil's words rang in her ear, which made her heart shatter. She only had to ask for a simple life from Allah, is it too much? But she knew this is just an aazmaish from her Allah and she gave it to win over it.
