Old ways won't open new doors.

Z A Y N A

It had been 1 week, Zayna got discharged from the hospital. She was recovering fastly not because of the medicine's but also because of the love and care she is getting. To be honest, she was feeling blessed. Zohra was taking care of her like her own daughter, while sometimes she got death glares from Faaezah just because she didn't want to have her medicine. Nayab was her gossip partner. The duo had gotten so close.

In this period of time, she didn't have any interaction with Aahil nor did with Haris. Or she doesn't want to face them. But the thought of their divorce was killing her inside. She knew that she couldn't forget him so easily, he had made his special place in her heart and mind but now she doesn't want to be in this relationship.

She had realized they are not meant for each other, or do they?

It was the middle of night, she wasn't sleepy so she decided to roam in the garden. She was sitting on the swing and looking at the sky which was twinkling with the stars. She closed her eyes, she felt someone's presence around her. She didn't open her eyes. She knew it was him. She has been used to that aura and that aura was screaming it was him.

She felt him sitting beside her, she opened her eyes and moved her gaze to him. Her breath hitched when she saw him already looking at her. His eyes were sore and it seemed like he hadn't slept for days. His face had lost all his colors. Her heart clenched seeing him like this.

"Our divorce paper is ready."

Aahil said softly, gazing at her. Zayna felt some tears pricking in her eyes. She was fast enough to wipe those but unfortunately Aahil had noticed it. Zayna looked at him and nodded.

"Are we really going to be separated?"

He questioned her, his voice was having a pain and zayna had noticed it. Zayna looked in his eyes. Wallahi! She missed his eyes, she missed looking in his eyes.

His eyes were her favorite sight.

"Do we have another option rather than this?"

She replied, clearing her throat.

"Can't we give us a chance?"

Aahil said with a hope, Zayna looked at him and scanned his face and chuckled bitterly.

"There is no chance for us, Aahil."

She said Aahil was trying hard not to lose his control but the woman was testing his patience.

"I'm not going to divorce you."

He said, his voice was firm. Zayna looked at him with an unbelievable look.

"What are you saying? I think you are forgetting our deal."

Zayna said, rolling her eyes.

"There was no deal between us."

Aahil said gazing at her, she shivered under his gaze. His towering and dominant personality was making her weak.

"What? But you said that you will divorce me until I get better."

Zayna said not understanding his words.

"That was a lie."

Aahil said, shrugging his shoulders, Zayna was now angry at him, she glared at him.

"How could you do this Aahil? I'm a human not a doll whom you can use for your benefits. I want a divorce and that's final."

Aahil was getting angry by listening to her words. He looked at her and glared at her dangerously while pulling closer to him. His one hand was on her waist and one was caressing her cheeks. Her both hands were on his shoulder. Their faces were a few inches apart.
