𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧

for the two next weeks, fourteen days, korra homeschooled blossom in the apartment while we sent the other kids to school.

but as a special order from a top detective, the avatar, and ceo of sato enterprises, the school took extra precaution of protecting our kids and the kids in their classes to prevent any more kidnappings.

we told her she had to go back on monday, no excuses.

it's sunday evening and we were having dinner with naoki and her baby brother takumi after mako and jiang asked us to watch them for their date night.

i was at the end of the table, feeding takumi some blended carrots with asami and korra on either side of me, and the kids all smushed together on the left side of the table.

"you ever think babies wish they could eat normal food?" korra asked me as i put a spoonful in takumis mouth.

"good job!" i cooed. i look at korra . "no, why?"

she raised her chopsticks with a strip of beef toward his mouth and takumi gets ready to eat it.

i dropped the spoon and snatched the beef strip from her chopsticks, putting it into my mouth.

"he could choke, korra! he doesn't have teeth."

i quickly fed takumi another spoonful.

"you're so boring. isn't she boring?" she looks at the baby, and he blubbers and makes sounds at her.

korra laughs out at his actions before eating again.

"so, when's blossom going back to class, aunt korra? i'm asking cause we have a project on the history of our bending." naoki asked me.

"oou, cool. so, you're doing the history of firebending, right?" korra asked her.

"mhm. and syaoran too. ms. xu said it's half of our grade. and we already started three days ago." she continued.

korra looks at me and asami before she speaks up.

"well she should be ready to back on monday. and i'll talk to ms. xu about the project so she can make up those days she was gone." asami said.

blossom glanced up. "does it have to be so soon?" she asked.

"well, yeah, babe. you heard naoki. you guys have already started it and it's important for your grade." i told her as i fed takumi another spoonful.

he let half of it into his mouth and the rest he let fall down his chin.

i laughed softly before grabbing a napkin and cleaning him up.

"but i can just do it from home. i was thinking i could stay home until the end of the next semester and then go back to take exams." she shrugged.

"the second semester is starting next week- ow-" syaoran said before blossom elbowed him.

"uh.. no, sweetie, you can't do that. the sooner you go back, the better." i told her before asami said it was a good idea.

blossom sighs and goes back to eating her dinner.

we finished up eating and cleaning and the kids stayed in blossom's room to hang out while i watched takumi.

we found yasuko's old bassinet and put takumi in there so he could sleep. it was super pink and had flowers but what does takumi care?

"blossom had a sorta good idea. with the homeschool thing." asami said as she walked toward us with coffee mugs in her hands.

i already had one on the bassinet, rocking it softly so takumi would sleep, so she handed me the mug in the other. she sat between korra and i.
