ROSHNI'S P.O.V

Here I am, just chilling now that my exam is over, but I need to confess something. If Daksh finds out on his own, he'll totally freak out on me. Even though he seems scary but now I have started seeing his different side. Before I started living with him I always thought he is angry man who would just scold you punish you but he is also one to whom you will run for help if something trouble you. He may seems scary but he is super sweet. He is like a coconut hard from outside but soft and yummy from inside.

But he will be upset and i don't want to be scolded by him. He is not just my neighbors anymore he is my husband.

I pulled my hair while rolling around on the bed.

I sat up straight when I heard the doorbell. I went to the door and opened it, finding Ayaan standing there. I tried to peek behind him for Daksh, but he wasn't there.

"Daksh isn't here?" I asked, He step inside with clear exhausted expression.

"He'd be late today, like 02:00 or 03:00 AM, so that's why I'm here," Ayaan said, stretching out on the couch.

"Why so late? He didn't tell me anything about it." I asked suddenly feeling down. Why didn't he inform me?

"Don't you know? It's the farewell for the students who are graduating this year, so it'll go on until late at night. He'll be home late." Ayaan mumble.

"Oh, he didn't mention anything to me. Ayaan, listen," I said and sat beside him and he looked at me, intrigued by my sweet tone.

"What's up? Why are you being so sweet all of a sudden? Missing him? If yes then just call him. He can't really come home early anyway."

"First, you need to understand that I messed up. If I tell your brother, I'll be in trouble, and if I don't, I'll still be in trouble. What should I do now?" I said, sitting next to him.

He looked at me with raised eyebrows.

"Don't worry, just tell him. You'll be in less trouble that way. Now, enough of that! How's everything going? You're exercising every day, right? Make sure to do your workouts and take walks in the morning and evening, and drink lots of milk. Avoid tea completely and don't use the stairs too much in later stages. Most importantly, don't be lazy; stay active."

He kept rambling on, and I shot him a glare. When he didn't notice, I pinched him, and he finally looked at me. I glared again.

"Rest Ayaan, I will serve dinner for you." I whisper walking away.

Third person's p.o.v

In the middle of the night, Roshni was sleeping soundly when someone wrapped their arms around her. She instantly recognized the familiar touch of her favorite person. The faint trace of his cologne immediately calmed her restless mind.

She opened her eyes and looked at Daksh with a pout.

"Why are you still awake? It's late," he asked, his voice soft and tinged with sleep.

Roshni snuggled closer to him. "I can't sleep without you... I need to tell you something, and it's really bothering me. First, promise me something." She extended her pinky finger toward him.

Daksh chuckled and linked his finger with hers. "I promise, but for now, let's sleep. We can talk tomorrow."

She shook her head, noticing that he had already changed into shorts. "No, I need to talk now. Please don't get mad, and don't use your hand, it hurts, okay?" she said, placing both her hands on her cheeks.

Daksh gave a small nod.

"You know, Aarav and I sat opposite each other, and I helped him with his math exam. He showed me his answer sheet in another exam, and I swear I didn't copy everything I just took some bits," she confessed.

"Aarav?" he asked.

"That cute boy," she replied.

"Alright, we'll talk tomorrow," Daksh said, lying back down.

"You're not angry?" she asked, tugging at his t-shirt.

"No... but... I will cancel your exam." His tone faltered, his thoughts lingering on the words cute boy.

"Cute boy, cute boy, cute boy... She keeps saying that. She was even walking with him in the corridors-what a great thing! Meeting him, talking to him, copying from him, and calling him a cute boy," Daksh thought bitterly, pulling Roshni closer.

"You told me you wouldn't get mad, so what's with the cancel paper? If you do that, I'll change my college, just so you know," Roshni warned.

"And how do you plan to do that alone?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

"With Bhaiya's help."

"Bhaiya?"

"My cousin's brother."

The mention of the name made Daksh push her away slightly. "Stop talking nonsense."

"I really think you both have some misunderstanding; he's actually really sweet. You all just have a bad impression of him. What if that's not the case. You see he is my only family I'm left with. He's genuinely nice," Roshni argued.

Daksh glared at her, his anger barely hidden. "Did you meet him?" he asked in a calm, controlled tone.

Roshni shook her head, signaling no.

Daksh let out a sigh of relief and turned his back toward her as he settled down to sleep.

Roshni lay there quietly, her thoughts in turmoil. "I can't tell him I ran into Aarav outside of college. What can I do? He's always so nice. He never acts inappropriately, so how can I just ignore him when he approaches me? He would be hurt. I just need to make sure Daksh doesn't find out about this... But then again, he gets upset just hearing his name. What would happen if I told him I met that guy?" She gently placed her hand on Daksh's before drifting back to sleep.

Morning

At breakfast, Roshni sat across from Daksh, sneaking glances at him while he remained focused on his phone.

"What are you doing on that phone?" she asked.

"I'm asking Deepak to get your answer sheet and that cute boy's answer sheet too, so I can see to what extent you both have cheated." he replied.

"No, you're not doing anything. Just drop it, Daksh," she insisted, shaking him lightly.

"We won't get anywhere if you keep bothering me like this, so let go of my shoulder, eat your breakfast, and take your medicine. Then I'll see what I can do. By the way, Ayaan will come by tonight for your vitamin shot; he mentioned it before he left," Daksh added.

"Oh yeah, Ayaan! When did he leave? I totally forgot about him," Roshni said.

"When I got back, he mentioned something about an accident, so he had to go," Daksh explained.

"Oh, then tell him there's no need to come tonight. He should just stay at the hospital; who knows when he'll get called again?" she suggested, making Daksh smile.

"Don't worry about it. If he's busy, we'll just head to the hospital. Now, hand me your phone," he said, extending his hand.

"Why?" she asked but handed it over anyway.

"Just checking something. Don't worry, I won't look at your Google history," he teased with a wink, leaving her puzzled.

"But what are you doing?'

"Nothing, just be quiet for a second."

"God help me! Just don't open any messages. Bhaiya texted me earlier, and if he finds you," Roshni, you're definitely in trouble! she thought nervously.
