I couldn't see or hear anything. It felt like the world was closing in around me, creating a small space bubble for me and Norrie. Norrie. Norrie. Norrie. I dropped my drink and ran towards her and we embraced, tears dripping down our faces. After what felt like an eternity, we separated. "You really did it!" Norrie cheered. "You bloody did it! You essentially replaced Marissa! You bloody killed her granddaughter! I've never been so fucking proud!" We both break into laughter. I wipe blurry tears from my vision and focus on her.
She isn't very changed. Her eyes are less sunken than before, and her pale complexion is now slightly darker from exposure to sunlight. Apart from that, she looks just like she did five years ago.
A few chiming chords of "You've Got a Friend in Me" begin to play. We whip around and simultaneously glare at George, who quietly hits the pause button and slowly slips it into his pocket. "What the fu-" Luc began before Lockwood quickly grabbed her from behind. "Bad Lucy!" "BAD FUCKING LOCKWOOD. I SAY WHAT I WANT. WHEN I WANT." Norrie watched them with amusement, leaning over to Holly. "Is there something that I missed?" Holly grinned and leaned over. "You have no idea."
