''I think you're growing on him.''|| Part 9

I wake up randomly. The sun is rising in the east. Chan didn't wake me up to keep watch halfway through the night like he said he would.

I see I.N still asleep on me, his head on my chest, his arms and legs wrapped around my figure. I lift my head, careful not to wake the sleeping prince lying on me. I see Chan still awake. He's watching the sunrise.

"Prince Chan," I whisper, to get his attention. "Oh, you're awake!" He whispers back while smiling. "I am. Why didn't you wake me up earlier, like you said?" I question. He laughs nervously.

"You looked so peaceful. Also, it's kind of hard to wake you up quietly when you have those two clinging to your side," Chan says while standing over I.N. He gestures to my right and left. I look left and see Seungmin facing me while sleeping. His hair falls flawlessly over his eyes. He looks so peaceful.

"You should have seen him earlier, cuddling up to you, about doing the same thing that I.N is," Chan says. "He probably hadn't an idea that he was doing it. He doesn't particularly like me," I say.

Chan laughs and says, "I think you're growing on him," I sit up, trying not to wake I.N. "I wouldn't be so sure..." I reply. "And whys that?" Chan questions. "He's said it before that he doesn't trust me, and he's always been quite ill-mannered towards me," I explain.

I.N shifts in his sleep, laying his head on my legs.

Chan laughs quietly. "He's just like that. I can tell he cares more than he lets on. Just give him time, and he'll open up," Chan smiles.

He quietly whispers to himself. "I can see the way he looks at you, and certainly it's not with hate." I couldn't quite hear what he said.

"What was that?" I ask. Chan looks panicked for a second. "Oh, nothing..." He turns his attention to the rising sun. "The sunrise is gorgeous out here... I don't think I've ever seen one this clearly," He says. I hum in response.

The sky is painted with vibrant hues of oranges, reds, pinks, and purples. It is an outstanding sight. Movement from beside me tears my attention away from the rising sun. I see Seungmin sitting up, his hair slightly messy.

"Morning sleepy head," Chan teases. "How was your sleep, you little cuddle monster?" Seungmin looks confused.

"You were all over Y/n while you guys were sleeping," Chan laughs. Seungmin looks at me and then back to Chan. "Ew," He simply says.

Chan fake cries. "You reject your big brother's cuddles but you'll cuddle Y/n? The betrayal!" Chan says dramatically.

Seungmin gets defensive. "Hey! I wasn't trying to cuddle her! I can't control what I do while I'm sleeping!" He shouts.

I shush him. "The others are sleeping. Please lower your voice." He scoffs, but listens. Chan gives me an 'I Told You So' look. I raise my eyebrow in response. "Whatever. What were you guys talking about?" Seungmin asks. Chan and I speak over each other.

"You," Chan said. "Sunrises," I say. Seungmin looks confused. "Why were you talking about me?" Chan giggles. "Oh, you know, I was just telling Y/n how cuddly you were being and how I think they're slowly growing on you," Seungmin scoffs.

"Can we drop the cuddle thing? It wasn't on purpose, and they're growing on me? Like hell! I don't like them!" Seungmin says. Chan laughs again. "So defensive,"

He turns and whispers to me. "That means he's lying," Seungmin overhears and shouts out protests, making Chan burst out into laughter.

"God, you guys are so loud," Lee know groans while sitting up. "Sorry for waking you, Your Highness..." I apologize on everyone's behalf. "It's whatever," He says sleepily. I.N shifts his body. I look down and see him looking back up at me.
