Hello~

I wanna start this off by saying that I'm so thankful for everyone reading this! Also, I'm so sorry that I've been slow to update this, I've been working on another story called 'Broken Beauty' which is a SeungIn x reader- so it's been taking up more time than I have realized. But lmk if you're interested in reading it once I publish it 🤭 I'll try to get more updates out more frequently!

Thank you!

After hours of walking, we're finally on the outskirts of Eldermora. I can feel my excitement growing with every step. It's been years since I've been able to see my siblings or my mother.

Walking through the gates, passing village people give us strange glances. I can't tell if they're looking at the princes with recognition, or me with familiarity. It's more than likely the latter. I guess I will have to stay on guard more than I was originally planning to.

We continue walking through the bustling streets. I watch as multiple pop-up stands catch the eyes of the princes. The way their eyes light up when they see something they find interesting or like is amusing. It's made me realize how little the princes actually got to go outside of the castle.

Eldermora has changed so much since I've last been here. What used to be a small town was now growing into a city. That doesn't affect me, though. I know my way around quite well.

I continue walking, swerving past the oncoming carts and pedestrians. The princes follow closely behind me.

"Y/n..?" a voice calls out. I turn in the voice's direction and see a short girl. "It is you!" She starts running towards me. I open my arms and allow her smaller form to crash into mine. "Hanni!" I capture her in a tight hug. "I've missed you!" She says into my shoulder.

I smile and pull away from the hug. "I've missed you too," I say. "How is mom- Jungkook and Yeji?" I question. Her smile brightens. "They're doing great! Oh, they're going to be so excited to see you!" She says. She looks behind me and sees the group of eight men watching our encounter. "Oh, my lord... are these the.." Her sentence trails off as she looks back at me with a questioning look. I nod and hold a finger to my lips.

She nods frantically, understanding what I was meaning. I turn around to face the boys. "This is my youngest sister, Hanni," I introduce her and she bows. The boys politely bow back. "Do you need a place to stay?" She asks me and I nod in response. She smiles and grabs my wrist, pulling me along behind her. "Mom still owns the hotel, so I can get you guys' rooms for a big discount," she says happily.

I look back and see the princes following me. Walking up to the large building, I can see that it looks very different from when I used to help out with the work. Hanni swings open the front door and I see my mom at the front desk and my two other siblings sitting in the corner of the room. They all look up in surprise when the door slams against the wall. "Surprise!" Hanni says, while gesturing for me. I wave.

My mom gasps and rushes to hug me. "Oh, my baby!" She says, while pulling me into her. "I've missed you so much!" She strokes my hair and looks over my shoulders at the princes who are standing outside. "Y-Your Highnesses!" she says, shocked. I shush her. "We need to keep them from being here on the down low," I explain. She nods and moves out of the way of the door to let the princes come in, pulling me along with her.

Yeji comes up to me and silently hugs me. I can feel wet tears on my shoulder. That's when I realized that Yeji was crying. I pull away and wipe her tears. She smiles at me before throwing her arms around my neck once more and enveloping me in a hug, whispering a quiet, "I missed you," In my ear. I pat her back reassuringly. Jungkook ruffles my hair. "Nice of you to visit finally," He jokes. I roll my eyes playfully. "Oh, come on, I've been busy! Plus, it's such a long trek here." He laughs and gives me a quick side hug.
