**Catherine's POV**

Sunday is a holiday for most, but it was a working day for me. I spent the day cleaning the house, getting rid of everything that belonged to James. The things that reminded me of him were burned. The memories of us are now just ashes.

There are many empty spaces in the house now, but I’m busy every day, so I haven’t had time to rearrange things. Sundays are always hectic for me.

I ordered food because I was too tired from cleaning to cook.

Sunday night, Serena came back from her parents' house. She suggested we go to the club to celebrate my divorce. I was okay with the idea and invited Susan to join us.

I haven’t heard anything from James since the divorce. I assume he’s happy with his new life, maybe even preparing to be a dad. I’m happy with my new life too. Everything is going quite well.

Once I was ready, I sent a message to Serena. She came to my door, and we went together to Club Aphrodite. Susan was waiting for us at the entrance.

“Did you wait long?” I asked her from a distance.

“No, just 10 minutes,” she replied casually.

“Come on, don’t waste time! We need to celebrate Girls’ Night,” Serena said, pulling both me and Susan along by our hands. We laughed at her enthusiasm.

“Slow down, Serena,” Susan complained.

“Yeah, we’re coming,” I said, trying to keep up.

The club was packed, mostly with young people. The loud music made our feet start moving on their own.

We found seats at the counter.

“Tonight, we have to get drunk,” Serena announced, as if she only drank on special occasions.

“Of course,” Susan agreed, placing her hand on Serena’s. They both looked at me, waiting for my response.

“Why not?” I joined in.

“What would you like?” the bartender asked. He was a blonde guy with amazing drink-mixing skills that made the girls go crazy.

“Anything you give me,” Susan winked at him. He smiled back, probably used to flirty customers.

“Susan, that was fast,” I teased.

“True,” Serena agreed with me.

“I can flirt with any guy. I’m single,” Susan said confidently.

“I’m single too,” I chimed in, raising my hand to join her team.

“What about me?” Serena asked.

“You have Wad,” I said, playfully pushing her to the side. We couldn’t include her in the singles team.

The drinks arrived, and we started drinking. Soon, our tongues loosened, and our vision blurred. I could see two Susans and three Serenas.

“Want more?” the bartender asked.

“The more, the merrier,” Susan said. He went to get us more drinks.

“Hey, guys!” we all turned from our seats. It was Wad.

“Hi, Wad,” I said.

“How did you end up here?” I asked him.

“Your friend messaged me,” he said, showing his phone. Of course, we knew which friend he meant.

“Serena, you told me it was a girls' night!” I yelled at her.
