Alys approaches her twin brother, a sweet smile on her perfect lips as she steps carefully and quietly. Baelon studies the texts across the desk, his nails tapping the wood.
Currently, the two were in the old chambers of their father, having inherited everything of his. Baelon kept his books and his old chamber. And Alys kept his maps and trinkets.
"Dear sister, your skills of sneaking are far from superb." Baelon states, lifting his gaze and meeting identical ones. Alys shrugs, offering him a smirk, leaning against the desk. "Wasn't my intention dear brother." She teases
"And what was?" Baelon asks
"Sorry young one." Came a soft whisper, before Baelon could react, he was grabbed from behind, his mouth covered so didn't shout.
Aemond and Alys finish tying the young heir, watching as he struggles against the rope hold, his mouth muffled.
Aemond backs away, analyzing the young boy. He had his mother's features but he screamed Baelon. "Now dear brother, if you promise not to yell, I'll take off the muffle, promise?" Alys asks
There was no reply, just silence as he glares. "Please brother, this is important." Alys pleads
After a long silence, Baelon begrudgingly nods. Alys smiles and she removes the tie around his mouth. Baelon licks his lips, still glaring. "What is this old hag doing here? Do you not recall he's our father's murderer?" Baelon spits
Aemond lifts an eyebrow, a little amused at being called an old hag. "I haven't forgotten, I promise. But he's going to be the reason why we get him back, please just listen." Alys pleads
Baelon huffs. "Very well, go on." Baelon orders, if he could, he would be crossing his arms. "As you know, I'm a sorceress-" "Witch." "-brother you are not amusing....as a sorceress, I can send Aemond back to when our father was a young boy, he can guide him and ensure that he doesn't die as he did all those years ago on Storm's end." Alys says
Baelon sits there silent, his eyes meeting Aemonds. "If you can do what you say you can, what if he never meets mother, what if we are never born, I rather like being alive and such." Baelon states
"We can not alter what is set, if Baelon never goes to Dorne, then mother will go to him instead. I can do so much, I can't alter life." Alys says "And yet you can bring our father back." Baelon asks "It isn't quite making sense." Baelon quips, shifting in the chair, uncomfortable.
Aemond hums. "I can't help but agree with mini Baelon-" "I'm not mini-" "If you can't alter life? How is it that I'm going to save Baelon from death?" Aemond asks
Alys sighs. "As I said before, I can't alter life, I never meant death." Alys says "And what price does it have on you sister?" Baelon asks "a price that I'll gladly pay, and if it all works in our favor, it wouldn't matter." Alys says, she leans forward, meeting her brother's gaze. "We will have a father, finally after all these years of loneliness." Alys says
Baelon's eyebrows come together in sadness. "You're tempting with things you don't understand, you can't ensure that father meets mother, or that Maegor is created. What if Aemond has Baelon fall for him sooner and they run, with no responsibility or ties to the family? Baelon can pass the title to Uncle Jace and Aemond is a second son, he is free to do as he pleases. You can't promise this, I'm happy here, and don't start with me, of course, I wish Father was here, but he was dead before he could hold me. Don't let grief overtake you....all we can do is honor his name." Baelon says
Alys scoffs, shaking her head. "I do honor him, I married that Stark because that's what he would've wanted, but it wasn't enough. I needed him to be there when I wedded him when I carried my firstborn, I needed him by my side as I struggled to care for the child, to offer me words of encouragement, to tell me that I was doing great. I need my father!" Alys states
Aemond stares at the side of her face, seeing a little girl, who missed someone she never knew.
"Alys....you don't understand the course of history you'll be changing." Baelon states
Aly's face changed, the tears slipped for a final time before her gaze hardened. "All I need is your blood, I was hoping you would offer it willingly, but seeing as you won't help." Alys says her voice calm as she grabs the dagger from her belt. Baelon's eyes widen, and he softly shakes his head. "Sister." He whispers
"All I need is the blood of the first legitimate son and then I can send our poor old uncle to the past." Alys whispers to herself, watching as her brother struggles against his bounds as she approaches, her skirts fluttering against the wooden floor.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door, making Baelon's head whip to the side, his eyes widening, before he could shout for help, a strong hand muffled him. "I apologize." Aemond whispers next to his ear.
"Baelon." Came Maegor's muffled voice, his feet shuffling.
Alys briefly glances at the door in agitation before she drags the dagger across his arm. Aemond grits his teeth as he muffles Baelon's scream of pain. The young prince continued to thrash against the chair.
Alys silently collected the blood, watching as it dripped into her small jar. When she finally has enough, she softly presses a hand on the open wound, watching as it stitched together under her touch.
"I'm finished, please put my brother to sleep, it'll give us a head start." Alys says
Baelon's eyes widen, tears slipping traitorously. Reluctantly, Aemond grabs his neck and as well as his mouth, tightening his grip, effectively suffocating him to sleep. Aemond let's go as he slumps in his grip.
"Add that to the list of crimes." Aemond quips
"Very unhelpful."

Some Baelon the third content, ehehe.
He's big on honor like his late father, so he understands that changing the course of history would not work in their favor. And he obviously loves his dad, he has heard great stories of him from his uncles and grandparents, and he wanted to preserve that memory.
And he does make great points. But we'll see how this story goes.
