Sunoo arrived at his school, Apex Academy right on time. He was a sincere student after all.
He greeted the guards at the gate and entered the school, while walking through the path, someone suddenly jumped on him from the back. He almost lost balance for a second but quickly caught the person on his back.
He immediately knew that it was none other than the Australian human Kangaroo a.k.a his best friend Jake. He is the only one who always greets him like this.
'Hey bestie! Good morningggg....' Jake greeted with an enthusiastic tone.
'Oh God, Jake! Get off that poor boy, you will make him fall now. He can barely handle your weight.' A taller and handsome looking boy named Sunghoon replied from behind.
Jake then let go of the younger and turned to look at the guy behind with an offended expression.
'Yah! What do you mean by that Park Sunghoon? Are you calling me fat now?' Jake said, with an angry pout on his face now.
Sunghoon laughed at his boyfriend's cuteness and went over to him. He cupped his cheeks and kissed the pout away. Angry looking Jake is the cutest you see.
'I didn't mean it like that babe, how can I call you that? You're the most perfect being that I have ever laid my eyes on this earth you know? Thin or fat, I will love you in any shape or size because you'll always be perfect in my eyes. So never think like that okay?' Sunghoon said to his boyfriend while squishing his cheeks now.
While the couple was having their lovey-dovey moment, a disgusted looking Sunoo had to interrupt them because they were getting late for their classes and also not to mention that everyone passing by was now looking at them. Not only because they were being lovey-dovey but also because they were one of the most famous couple in the campus. Many admired them and also envied them at the same time.
'Umm... Guys? Sorry to interrupt your moment but can we please go now? Everyone is looking at us, it's embarrassing.' Sunoo said, looking at the people around them who were now staring and whispering about them.
The couple came out from their little love world and looked at Sunoo with annoyed faces.
'Wow! Way to ruin the mood Kim Sunoo. Nobody is looking at us, just admit that you're jealous because you don't have a lover to be lovey-dovey with.' Sunghoon said.
Sunoo rolled his eyes at the statement. Him and being jealous? Oh please, the Kim Sunoo is never jealous of anyone because he knows that he can get anyone if he wants to. But except for that one person that he wants though, so maybe he was kind of jealous? But will he admit that? No, never.
'Oh please... Jealous my ass! We are really getting late now so can we please move? You'll have plenty of time together after the classes anyways.' Sunoo replied.
'Whatever you say Sunoo, you can't deny the truth.' Sunghoon said again, mockingly.
Sunoo was ready to argue again but Jake stopped both of them before they can argue anymore.
With that the three of them finally entered the school hallway and went to their respective classes. Jake and Sunghoon went in separate ways than Sunoo because they were a year older than him which means that they were in a grade higher than him.
They were in their last year of high school and will be graduating soon, thinking about that makes Sunoo sad because he will have to survive alone in the school after they graduate.
It's not like he doesn't have other friends but they are not that close to him like the other boys are. All of them were friends since elementary school, but after Jungwon grew distant from Sunoo the group got split into two. But they still hang out together sometimes though, with Jungwon ignoring Sunoo all the time and Sunoo always longing for his attention.
When he entered his classroom, the first person his eyes landed on was the love of his life Yang Jungwon.
He was sitting on his seat while laughing and talking with his friends, Sunoo's heart skipped a beat when he saw him laughing with his cute dimples out. Jungwon has grown so much during the past few years, he was now even one inch or two, taller than Sunoo.
While he was busy admiring him, his eyes suddenly met him.
Jungwon who was smiling till now dropped his smile and turned his facial expression to a cold one when he saw Sunoo. He gave him a glare and then turned again to his friends who were talking about something.
Sunoo's heart hurt after seeing that cold expression. The boy who once used to smile brightly at him whenever they used meet each other and play, now doesn't even spare a glance at him. He really missed that smile, and badly wants to be the reason behind that smile again.
He didn't let that discourage him though. He was determined to make some space for him in Jungwon's heart again, even if only as a friend. He never really knew why the younger suddenly started hating him, nor did Jungwon made any effort to tell him the reason. He just suddenly cut off Sunoo from his life, leaving him confused.
With a sigh he went to his seat, thinking of the ways that can help him to be friends with Jungwon again. While thinking, a nice idea came to his mind, which was perfect as the beginning step of his plan. He hoped everything will go well.
Meanwhile ~
'Mr. Minhyung Kim, please follow me. Your appointment is next.' A nurse called out the name of the person in the waiting area.
Upon hearing his name, Mr. Kim immediately followed the nurse.
Well the truth is that, today was not the first time that he got a nose bleed. It has been sometime that he was frequently getting a nosebleed and also dizziness sometimes. At first he thought that maybe it was because of the weather or the work pressure, but after frequent dizziness he finally decided to have a proper checkup.
When entering the doctor's chamber he prayed to God that everything will come out fine and that there's nothing to worry about.
