It's been a week after that incident and Jungwon haven't said anything to Sunoo since then.
Sunoo even messaged him, apologizing for not being able to do the thing he asked for but he never replied.
He wanted to message him again but was afraid that Jungwon might find it annoying and call off their deal which he didn't want. So, that's why he never dared to message him again and just waited for his reply.
And seems like God finally listened to his prayers when he got a text from Jungwon.
[11:00 PM] Jungwonie:
I am waiting outside your house, come meet me. Don't make me wait for too long.
The message read.
Sunoo was surprised.
Jungwon wanted to meet him? And that too this late? Why? What if he wanted to meet up just to call off the deal?
A flood of questions ran through his mind, but only Jungwon had the answers.
So, wasting no more time, he quickly adjusted his clothes and hurried outside to meet him.
Since everyone in the house was asleep at this hour, he had to silently sneak out through the front door.
After successfully making it out of the house, he rushed towards the front gate.
Stepping outside the gate, he found Jungwon leaning against the side wall, waiting for him. He was wearing a light black jacket, as the night was a bit chilly despite it being summer.
"Finally, you're here, Kim Sunoo," Jungwon said as he saw him.
"Sorry, did I make you wait?" Sunoo asked nervously.
"Ten minutes. You made me wait a whole ten minutes, Kim Sunoo. But it's fine. Wanna go grab some ice cream? I'm craving it," Jungwon asked.
The unexpected question caught Sunoo off guard. Yang Jungwon was asking him to get ice cream together? Is this a dream?
"Umm... I'm waiting," Jungwon said, noticing Sunoo's silence.
Snapping out of his thoughts, Sunoo finally replied, "Oh! Sorry. Umm.. sure, Let's go."
"Okay, but... are you sure you wanna go wearing that?" Jungwon asked, eyeing Sunoo's clothes.
Sunoo got so excited when Jungwon asked him to go get ice cream together that he completely forgot he was still in his pyjamas- until Jungwon pointed it out.
Embarrassed, he said, "Can you wait here for few minutes? I'll go change quickly."
Just as he was about to head inside, Jungwon stopped him.
"Wait! There's no need for that. Here, wear this instead, it should be fine." Jungwon said, removing his jacket and offering it to Sunoo.
This was the second time Jungwon had caught Sunoo off guard. First, he had asked him to go get ice cream together, and now this-giving him his jacket? Is this a dream or something?
"No, this has to be a dream," Sunoo thought, but he was quickly snapped back to reality.
"Hurry up and take it," Jungwon said, his patience wearing thin.
"Yeah, sorry," Sunoo muttered, hastily taking the jacket from him.
"But won't you feel cold?" he asked, concern evident in his voice.
