Sunoo ran and ran, without even bothering to put on his shoes. He didn't even heard Jay calling him from behind, because at this moment he just wanted to know the truth from his father, anyhow.
As he reached the front porch of his house, he suddenly collapsed from exhaustion. Flashbacks of that night started playing in his mind, making his head spin.
He clutched his hair in desperation, trying to remember exactly what had happened that night. All he could recall was running towards the road to save a kitten, but everything after that was a blur.
He started hitting his head in frustration, for not being able to remember anything after that.
'Hey! Hey! Sunoo! Stop hitting yourself'. Jay said, while holding both of Sunoo's hands to stop him from hiting himself.
'It was all my fault.. it was my fault right hyung? Because of me.. *panting*.... Jungwon lost....*panting*... lost his mother?' Sunoo asked, struggling to speak through his sobs.
'Hey, it's okay Sunoo. It was an accident, please don't blame yourself for it'. Jay said, while trying to console him.
But, Sunoo was not listening to him at all. He was blaming himself again and again.
'No hyung, *panting*.... it was my fault. It was me.... *panting* because of me Jungwon's mother died'. Sunoo stared panting heavily, he was hyperventilating and almost on the verge of passing out.
'Sunoo, please stop crying. You're hurting yourself, please. Take deep breaths Sunoo, deep breaths.' Jay pleaded Sunoo to stop crying, while soothing his back.
But that didn't help as Sunoo's breathing got heavier and he fainted on his arms. Seeing that Sunoo's condition has worsen, he called out for help.
'Oh my God, Sunoo! Hey! Wake up please *patting his cheeks* wake up Sunoo please. Help! Somebody please help. Jake! Uncle! Somebody please help us'.
Jay started calling out for help, unable to leave Sunoo alone to even ring the doorbell. Hoping that someone would come to their rescue, he continued to tap on Sunoo's cheeks, trying to wake him up while calling out for help.
Soon, the main door opened revealing Mrs. Im, Jake and Mr. Kim by the door. When they saw Sunoo being unconscious on Jay's arms, they immediately rushed towards them in worry.
Their security guards also came running upon hearing Jay's voice, calling out for help.
'Oh my gosh! Jay, what happened to Sunoo? Why is he unconscious?' Jake asked.
But Jay didn’t answer him. Instead, he picked Sunoo up in a bridal style and said, 'Can we please talk about this later? First, let me take Sunoo to his room, and you go call the doctor.'
Jake didn't complain and fished out his phone immediately to call the doctor. Mrs. Im guided Jay towards Sunoo's room, with Mr. Kim and Jake following them behind.
After putting Sunoo on his bed, everyone was now waiting for Jay to explain the situation. But, Jake couldn't wait any longer and started questioning him.
'What happened Jay? Why is Sunoo unconscious? Did that brat do something to him? I swear I will..' Jake couldn't complete his words as Jay interrupted him.
'Stop it Jake! Will you let me speak first?' Jay said.
Jake shut his mouth and motioned for him to speak. Jay let out a heavy sigh before he began to talk.
