Sunoo came home, honestly he wanted to stay after school to watch Jungwon's football practice but he knows very well that the younger wouldn't like that. So, he had no choice but to come home, while others stayed back to cheer for the younger ones (yes Niki is also in the football team) of the group.
Apart from Jungwon and Niki, Sunghoon and Heeseung were in the basketball team, Jake in the archery and Jay plays lawn tennis. So, only Sunoo wasn't in any kind of sports team. He isn't very found of sports anyways, rather he was more into art and music kind of things.
That's why he chose the art club instead, and he also plays the piano.
When he entered the house he was surprised to see his father already sitting in the living room talking to someone over the phone.
His father immediately kept the phone when he saw Sunoo approaching him.
'Dad? How come you're so early today?' Sunoo asked as he sat beside his father.
'Why? Can't I come home early to eat dinner with my lovely son?' His father asked back, faking a hurt expression.
Sunoo felt bad, he didn't mean it like that. He obviously would love to eat dinner with his father and spend some quality time.
'Of course you can dad. I just asked because you usually come home late, is everything alright?' He said with a sad pout on his face.
His father laughed at the cute expression and stroke his head softly. Sunoo looked like he will cry at any moment now, so his father decided not to tease him anymore and answer his question.
'Well actually I went for a check up today.' His father said.
Sunoo's expression now changed into a worried one, his eyes were telling his father to continue. A hint of fear evident on his face now.
His father sensed it so he continued, 'The doctor told me to take rest for sometime and said that it was because of stress and fatigue that I suddenly had the nosebleed today, nothing serious though.'
After hearing that Sunoo let out a sigh of relief and hugged his father.
'Thank God it's nothing serious. I got so scared when you said that you went to the hospital today. You need to take rest dad, don't over work okay? I promise to graduate soon from the school and help you in the company, so that you don't have to over work or worry about the company anymore.' Sunoo said, trying to assure his father that he can take over the company in the future.
Mr. Kim chuckled at his son's words and patted his head.
'Aigoo.. when did my baby grew up so much that now he can even talk about taking responsibilities? Seems like you're growing up too fast, also I wanted to ask you for sometime that do you have someone you like Sunoo~ya?'
The last question from his father made Sunoo sit up straight in shock, he didn't expected this kind of question from his father. He does like someone but he just can't tell his father, not because he will judge him or something, but, it's because THAT someone obviously doesn't like him. Heck! He even hates him.
'What? So suddenly? No, I don't have time for those things dad. Besides having you and my friends by my side is enough for now. I don't need anybody else.' Sunoo said (obviously lying).
His father frowned at his answer and replied, 'Aigoo... What will I do with this kid? I am glad that you think that we are enough for you but we won't be always around Sunoo ~ya, I am already getting old and you will eventually need someone by your side in the future. Do find someone soon, so that I can be rest assured that you will be fine without me in the future.'
