( A/n: Two Giants Part 2 )
The Riders and Onyx were in the Great Hall, Gobber was telling a series of stories that only Onyx was listening with complete interest in the stories, while everyone else was a bit annoyed as Gobber had told the stories about the " Boneknapper ".
Gobber: ( is to the ending of the last story of the Boneknapper: )...Then, from the center of the earth blasted forth... The hammerhead yak riding the hammerhead whale-
Stoick: Gobber, save everyone from the headaches.
Onyx: What no, what happened next.
Gobber: ( laughs and pats Onyx's shoulder ) I'll tell you the rest later, lad.
Onyx: Can you at least tell us what the treasure is?
Gobber: Of course, lad. This stunning belt buckle. It was in the Viking's treasure chest. It's kept my pants up for years.
When Gobber showed the shunning belt buckle, Onyx saw that it was a dragon bone that looked a bit similar to the one he found.
Onyx: Hey, it looks similar to the one I found this morning. ( pulls out the tiny dragon bone from his pocket and showed it )
Gobber: Well, looks like we'll be having matching belts, son.
( Meanwhile in the cove )
The giant bone dragon, now known as a Boneknapper, was laying on the ground in pain and looked up at the sky when it heard wings beats coming near her, and it tried to roar happily at the sight of the other and older Boneknapper, the other Boneknapper had a missing bone in his armor that was the same exact shape of Gobber's belt buckle. The older Boneknapper looked at the wounded Boneknapper with worry as he saw that the wound had deepened, he then nuzzled the wounded Boneknapper's head to comfort them, the wounded Boneknapper weakly purrs in response.
( Later that night )
The dragon riders and the Vikings of Berk were putting out a fire in Gobber's shop. Onyx was looking at some dragon prints that looked exactly the same as the ones before, but he saw that they were bigger. Gobber pulled out a cart of weapons.
Gobber: The Boneknapper set my home on fire!-
Onyx: No, Gobber. The fire wasn't a dragon fire...
Stoick: Come on, Gobber. The Boneknapper is just a myth. It doesn't exist.
Gobber: I'm telling you, it's real! I've been running from him all my life! He must've started the fire.
Viking: Stoick, we found Gobber's underpants hanging by the stone. They must've started the fire.
Stoick: Still think it's the Boneknapper, or just your underpants?
Gobber: I don't think! I know! Somehow he found me again. That dragon is pure evil-
Onyx: ( sternly and defensively: ) There's no such thing as an evil dragon, he must be here for a different reason.
Gobber looked at Onyx in confusion and slight shock, as he didn't know why Onyx suddenly became defensive.
Stoick: Not you too, Onyx. The Boneknapper doesn't-
Onyx: ( mostly talking to him ) Dragon prints, just like the ones me and the riders found in the forest. But these are different, their bigger suggesting this one is older. One is wounded, and another older one appears shortly after the wounded one comes here... But why...?
Stoick: What is that boy on about, Hiccup?
Hiccup: I, uh, I don't know. Onyx, can you share with a group a little-
Onyx: ( noticed that everyone was staring at him, and quickly became nervous and uncomfortable ) I-I have to go.
Onyx quickly took off.
Hiccup: Onyx, wait-
Astrid: I'll go talk to him.
Hiccup was about to go after Astrid as she went to go after Onyx, Meryl stopped him and mouthed " She can handle it " to him with a comforting smile. Astrid found Onyx sitting alone in the Great Hall. She went and sat next to him with a worried expression.
Astrid: Hey, are you okay?
Onyx: Yeah... I'm fine, it's just... Something Gobber said about the Boneknapper triggered me a little.
Astrid: What was it?
Onyx: B-Before Alvin cut my wing off, he said that I was pure evil... I just...
Astrid: ( places her hand on Onyx's shoulder ) Onyx, you're not evil, and I think you're right about the dragon not being evil as well...
Onyx's eyes then widened in realization.
Onyx: I know why the older Boneknapper came to Berk.
Astrid: ( confused: ) Huh?
Onyx: Think about it! Why would a older dragon go to another dragon and stay with them? It's because they know each other! Astrid, the two dragons are a father and his offspring! We need to find them and fast, they are still on this island and I know how we can track them.
( At the cove )
The older Boneknapper was laying beside the wounded Boneknapper, he looked at his child worryingly as the wounded Boneknapper was laying on the ground in pain.
