Buzz and Meryl were watching from afar as they both glaring at Snotlout, who was auctioning off a bunch of changewing eggs as " stones of fortune ", the two have an identical death glare.

Buzz: ( whispers, to Meryl: ) How strong is that boy's father?

Meryl: He's related to Snotlout....you can take Spitelout.

Buzz: Alright, I'll get the rope, and we make it look like an accident.

Hiccup: ( is behind them ) How about you don't.

Buzz and Meryl turned and saw that Hiccup, Fishlegs, and Astrid were behind them.

Meryl: You three have realized by now what those " stones of fortune " actually are, right?

Hiccup: Yes, and apparently you knew, switched the egg with a stone, returned the egg to the island, and didn't tell us.

Buzz: How did you find out?

Astrid: Onyx. He kinda blew your cover when he saw that the twins had one and he blurted out " Are you trying to cover us all in acid?! " at them.-

Meryl: ( Knowingly, to Astrid: ) And you gave him your " don't lie to me " stare didn't you?

Buzz: We should've known better than to leave Onyx to cover us by himself, we should've left Tida with him, she's stronger than him against interrogation tactics, plus she hasn't learned how to say full sentences yet.

Meryl: Yeah, we should've.

Hiccup: And you should've told us about knowing about the egg.

Meryl: ( to Hiccup, knowingly with her arms crossed: ) Like how you told the gang to keep it a secret from me because it was shiny and you were afraid I would take it?

Hiccup: ( nervously: ) Uh, uh, How did you-

Meryl: Hiccup, you're as predictable as Tideglider in a pond.

Hiccup: ( confused: ) Huh?

Meryl: ( sighs ) In Viking terms, I can read you like a book, Hiccup. By the way, someone should stop Buzz before he knocks Snotlout unconscious with a shield from while the crowd is leaving.

They looked at where Snotlout is and saw that Buzz is, in fact, standing behind Snotlout and was about to knock him out with a shield, he was then pulled away from the boy by Astrid and Meryl. Meryl then looks down at Gustav, one of the Viking kids with a smile.

Meryl: ( to Gustav: ) Hey Gustav, can you go play for a while, the big kids need to talk alone, okay?

Gustav nodded his head and took off.

Hiccup: Snotlout, what are you doing?

Snotlout: What does it look like I'm doing, I'm getting rich.

Fishlegs: But you can't.

Snotlout: I already did, the gems are gone-
