Her POV

I'm sitting on my chair here in the classroom and staring into a blank space because I'm waiting for the results of my last exam in my mathematics subject.

I was staring at the ceiling when Sir Seno smilingly asked me, "Ms. Montano, are you already cleared to all of your subjects?" I smilingly answered him, "Almost, I still have my Mathematics subject left, Sir."

"Can I see your clearance slip?" He smilingly asked me, so I gave it to him. Then he said to everyone, "Oh, see Ms. Montano? She is a fast learner in her other subjects but was slow on my subject but cleared it anyway with a good grade."

"Hmph, don't let me see your face tomorrow if you got cleared in all of the subjects," Dina sarcastically told me. Jana laughed and said to her, "You're just jealous, Dina." Brick laughingly agreed, and Martin added, "Mary is studious, unlike us." Everyone laughed, including me, because I'm not actually studious. I guess I don't have anything to do besides studying, reading books, and playing games.

"Shut up, my gay friend," Dina said to Martin, and he flipped his hair. Did I tell you that Martin and Blythe are my gay friends? They are fun to be with. When Noelle said, "I'm cleared with all of the subjects once I'm done with the English subject," Rikka suddenly entered the classroom and grinningly said to her, "I've preceded you, though." Blythe also grinningly added, "I only have one last exam, and I'm also done with that subject."

While they are having fun and kind of competing with each other, I noticed that Dana is seriously studying in the corner, so I walked towards her. "Dana, you want help?" I smilingly asked her. "Nope, I got this," she responded to me with a smile. "Okay then. Just tell me if you need a hand," I said to her and smiled. She smilingly thanked me and immediately went back to study.

After class, Dana and I didn't go home together because she will update her subjects. When I entered the office, I received news that Ms. Lady will be transferred to another division on the third floor.

"Hi, Mary!" Ms. Bes greeted me with a smile on her face, but to tease her, I ignored her. She looked at me with a straight face, smirked, and said, "Oh, so you're like that now, huh." I readily put myself on guard because she would tickle me on the sides when Ms. Bela called her.

I smirked at her and sarcastically said to her, "Oh no." She clicked her tongue and smilingly told me, "I'm going to get you later." I silently laughed as she left, and I worked on my today's tasks. It's kind of boring in here.

It's only natural that he isn't here since it's Thursday, but he wasn't here last week until yesterday. I sighed, thinking how wrong it is to think about him. But is it so wrong to miss the person who makes you smile even with the littlest things, such as saying goodbye?

No, I must stop thinking about him. This can change, and I hope it can end nicely with a good feeling. It doesn't matter if he would come back because I'm already aware that even though we can become friends, we would never see each other again.

It's now Friday, and I catch my breath as I got to the office at 4:30 PM. I smiled because he's still here though I went to buy my afternoon snack and decided to eat at the office. When it's already 5 PM, I heard that he is already saying goodbye to them, and here I am, waiting for my turn.
