Angeli's POV
Papunta na kami ng resort ng tumawag si Mom. Patay.
"Hello?"
"AT BAKIT WALA PA KAYO?"
"Nasiraan nga kami eh. Tsaka traffic."
"PROOF." Binuksan ko yung bintana at nilabas ng unti yung phone para marinig ni Mom yung mga busina ng mga sasakyan. Sinarado ko yung bintana at sinagot siya.
"Ok na?"
"Okay." At binabaan ako. Phew.
"Hahahaha. You thought your Mom is going scold you again nuh?" Tawa netong intsik na 'to. Tss.
"She is scary when she gets worried or mad." I said, smiling.
"Because that shows how she loves and cares for you." He said as he smile.
I response with a nod and continue eating my fries.
"Is that how you eat fries?" He asked me curiously.
Di ko kasi siya kinakamay. Hawak ko yung fries na may lalagyanan, tapos kumakagat ako ng isang piraso. Parang pag kain lang din ng hash brown. Ganun.
"Yes. Why?"
"Not girly. Hahahaha." And I punch his thigh.
"Aw! That hurts, seriously!"
"Say what you want, but its good to be true to everyone than to act like who you really not. Its fine if I'm not girly. Its me being simple and true. I don't need to act like any other girls do to please everyone. I act who I am."
Yumiji's POV
I was shocked. The way she said that made me think that she's different from other girls who do what people want them to.
"Which is why I like you."
"What?" She didn't heard what I said. Hahahaha.
"Nothing." I smiled reassuringly.
Finally we're here, though its night time. I looked at my watch and its already 6:08. We're 8 minutes late.
"Let's go?" Angeli asked me and I got my stroll bag at the compartment.
"Meryl!" I heard Ghiel's voice from afar.
"I think I'll go to the public pool. The whole resort place is vacated, so I think I can find Ma'am Bela and the others easily." I explained as I go.
