Angeli's POV
"Wala ka ng nakalimutan?" Excited na tanong sa akin ni Ghiel.
"Wala na. Hinahon ka nga lang. Ikaw ba yung aalis?" Tawa kong sagot sa kanya.
"Well, nahirapan si Kuya Yumi ipagpaalam ka kay Mom kaya swerte ka dahil makakapagbakasyon ka sa weekend sa Batanes." Natatawa niyang sabi sa akin at tumawa na lang ako.
"Susunduin ka dito sa bahay ni Kuya Yumi diba?" Ngiting tanong pa niya.
"Yup." Ngiting sagot ko sa kanya at may nagdoorbell na nga.
"Meryl, nandito na si Yumi." Mom called, so I kissed Shiver, my teddy bear, before going down. It's my first time going on a trip without it. (╥﹏╥)
"Oh, nandyan na pala siya. Dali na." Madali sa akin na tulak ni Ghiel. Hindi na siya lumabas kasi pagod siya at gusto niya na magpahinga sandali.
Pagkababa ko, sinalubong kaagad ako ni Kuya Yumi at dinala yung luggage ko. Magaan lang naman eh, pero halatang ginawa niya dahil nahihiya siya sa harap ni Mom.
"Meryl, lock the door when you sleep okay?" Paalala sa akin ni Mom at natawa na lang ako sa mukha ni Kuya Yumi dahil nasa isip niya na hindi siya pinagkakatiwalaan ni Mom.
"Opo." Sagot ko kay Mom at umalis na kami ni Kuya Yumi sa bahay at sumakay ng kotse papunta sa airport.
Pagkasakay namin, napabuntong hininga si Kuya Yumi. "Is there a problem?"
"Your Mom doesn't trust me enough." I just laughed at him.
"I guess so." I said to him in between my laughs.
"Oh well, at least you look good." He smilingly said to me.
"Thanks." I shyly said back.
When we entered the airport, we saw Ate Iyah and Sean seated at the bench in the waiting area. I told Kuya Yumi that I would buy a drink first. But seeing them first before buying a drink, it's obvious that they are still not talking to each other because there's a vacant seat between them. After buying a drink, I went to their seats then Ate Iyah walked towards me.
"I'm so nervous." She whispered when she hugged me. It's obvious because her hands are cold. (─ ‿ ─)
"It's okay, you and him will make up." I smiled and patted her back.
"Hey, girls. We need to go now." Kuya Yumi called us and we walked towards them.
"Umm, I'll carry my own luggage." I said to him because he's carrying mine.
"It's okay." He smiled at me and I just went with the flow.
