XVI

(POV Saylor)

I wake up to what seems like the sound of laughter in a far distance. I slowly open my eyes and scan the room, no sign of Dani. I sigh.

I'm gonna be pissed if she actually left again.
I grab my phone to see if I have any messages, none. I groan and get out of bed. I walk towards the kitchen rubbing my eyes and get greeted by the sight of Dani and Sofia eating breakfast.

"Look who's finally awake, Soof. Only took her forever." Sofia's laughter fills the room.

"Ha ha. Goodmorning to you guys too."

I walk over and sit down on the chair next to Sofia. "When did you guys even get up, and why did nobody wake me up?"

I look at both of them. Sofia shrugs her shoulders. Helpful. "I got up first, and then Sofia woke up, so we decided to make breakfast and let you sleep in, since you worked late."

That's actually pretty kind.
"Well, thank you. Now where's my breakfast?"
I smirk at Dani. She rolls her eyes and gets out a plate she kept with pancakes and hands them to me. I widen my eyes, "you're the best!" I start eating while Sofia gets down and walks towards her room.

"What are you doing?" She turns around, "Saylor, I have to get ready. Dani is gonna help me with my outfit, she has style." I throw my hands up and they both start laughing.

I finish my breakfast and then clean everything up. I head to my room and pick out an outfit for today, I'm going out with the group tonight so I don't wanna look homeless, but I still wanna be comfortable. I put on cargo pants and a white cropped top, but put on a white hoodie just for school.

As I head to the bathroom, Sofia and Dani come out of her room. Sofia has a little jumpsuit on with a longsleeve underneath and her converse.

"Adorable." I give her a high-five and we head to the bathroom, while Dani gets dressed in my room. I took out some clothes she can wear if she wants to.

Sofia and I are brushing our teeth when Dani comes in to join us. She's wearing flared jeans that never fit me anyways and a blouse.

"Also adorable", Sofia comments. I chuckle and then look at Dani. She raises an eyebrow.
"Ugh fine, very adorable."

Dani gives Sofia a high-five this time and I shake my head. "Unbelievable, you've been here for 1 night and you guys are already teaming up on me." They both laugh while looking at each other.

I put on same makeup and straighten my hair.
"Soof, don't forget you're sleeping over Chloe's tonight. So make sure you bring all your stuff." She nods and runs to her room to get her bag.

"Why is she sleeping over?" Dani's doing her makeup too. "I'm going out with the group tonight." I finish straightening my hair and put everything away. "Oh, okay."

Dani finishes too and we head out to the living room. Sofia got the bag I packed for her, because she would forget everything if I didn't. We put on our coats and head out.

"Soof, say bye to Dani."
She runs and gives Dani a hug. I tell her to go sit in the car while I talk to Dani.
"I had a good time." She nods, "me too. Thanks for letting me stay. I'll see you at school."

I say bye and she heads to school, while I head to Sofia's school.

I dropped off Sofia and gave Chloe's mom Sofia's bags for tonight. It's Chloe's birthday, and she asked her to sleep over. It worked out perfectly considering the group wanted to go out. I head to school while singing along to the radio.

I walk up the stairs to English class, today's presentation day and I'm pretty nervous.
Ezra and I finished everything earlier this week, so we're really prepared.
