Days had gone by and I managed to keep on asking Neville about his favorites. Medyo nahirapan ako because—UGH!—he was so arrogant in front of his band mates. Talagang pinanindigan niyang hindi kami close. That guy!

Hindi na rin kami nakakapag-usap ni Andy dahil sa mga pinaggagawa ko. Was Neville really worth my time? So far, iyon at iyon palang ang nalalaman ko tungkol sa kanya. Parang sinagot lang yata niya ko para manahimik na ako eh.

"Hoy! Kumusta naman?" Andy asked sarcastically.

"Sorry. Busy lang talaga ako. Malapit na namin i-publish yung issue 2 ng newspaper. Gosh, alam mo naman 'yon diba?" I lied. Whenever I lie to her, I feel like I am stabbing my other half that it feels so bad. Annoyingly bad.

"Uh-huh." Tuloy lang siya sa pagkain ng kanyang lunch. I couldn't tell if she could sense that I was lying or it was just that she didn't care about what I'd say.

"Sorry na." I plead.

"Sab, okay lang. Importante naman 'yang ginagawa mo," she stared at me for a moment and I immediately shoved a spoonful of rice in my mouth, "pero I'm still your bestfriend and I still deserve a fraction of your time."

I couldn't say anything so I nodded to her.

Nag commute ako pauwi dahil hindi ko alam kung saang sulok ng mundo nagpunta ang kapatid ko. He should be picking me up at 3 but he was nowhere. Ay, that asshole!

Pagdating ko sa bahay ay nilapag ko lang ang bag ko sa sahig at lumundag sa sofa. Ahh! What I would give to just lay here all day and eat granola bars. I laughed at the thought.

I was half asleep when I heard noises upstairs. Kahit na antok na antok pa ko ay kinuha ko ang bag ko at umakyat na. I couldn't believe Henroe was home early. Obviously why he didn't pick me up.

Sinundan ko ang ingay at dinala ako nito sa direksyon ng music room. Alam ko soundproof iyon kaya grabe naman siguro ang taong 'yon!

There was a light reflecting on the floor, telling the door to the music room was open, that was why the sound was escaping from the room.

Sumilip ako and I saw Neville in there, inaayos niya lahat. From the arrangement of the guitars to the compilation of music sheets.

"Anong ginagawa mo?" Tanong ko.

"Oh." He glanced at me, "Nakauwi ka na pala. Inaayos ko lang 'to. Ang kalat kasi pagpasok ko." Tinuloy niya ang kanyang ginagawa.

"You are not supposed to be here." Dahan dahan kong sabi.

"Why not?"

"Because none of your band mates is here and we're not supposed to talk to each other?"
