(Only have around 20 minutes of Insurgent left. I think that mine is the only divergent book that has gotten this far into the series)

Liz was left in her cell. She sat up, thinking about her escape. She honestly thought this would have been enough time for Four to break in but apparently she's gonna have to do it a different way.

i don't need a man to break me out anyway

She decided that she would prolong her stay here as much as possible. Struggle as much as she could and most of all, her favourite thing, annoying Jeanine.

-

"All right, come on. Time to go" Peter announces as he walked through the door, flanked by two of Jeanine's thugs.

The two men grab Liz by her arms and restrain her. She rolls her eyes, amused by their fear. The bald one starts getting a little too handsy so she moves her head up to him.

"Watch it, baldilocks. I'm taken" She snaps. His face flushes with anger at the nickname but Peter and the other have to hide their laughs.

She rolls her eyes and lets them walk her out of her cell and through the hallway, past all the other 'rooms'

"Got a little surprise for you Tris" Peter says ominously. The grin on his face gives her no comfort.

This can't be good

The four of them walk through another row of cells and she sees movement in one of them.

oh fuck no

"Liz!" He yells out. Four runs up to the glass and begins to punch and hit it in any way he can. Liz struggles against her captors and thrashes around until they drop her.

he's hot when he's angry

She runs over to the glass but doesn't get very far before one of the guards has grabbed her ankles and dragged her back. "Four!" She yelled, said man still banging furiously on the glass.

She's taken past his cell, still thrashing violently and calling out his name. She can hear him still hitting on the glass but before she can make another escape she feels a needle being put in her back.

-

She's back in the white box, strapped up to the black wires. Jeanine is standing alone in front of her.

still has that fucking ipad though

"I gather you know how vital the work you're doing here is to the future of this city" Jeanine says, still tapping away on her tablet.

"Let my family go" She demanded, referring to her sister and Four.

Jeanine paused for a moment, before she turned back to her screen and said "If their well-being is of such concern then you should focus on the task at hand"

Liz's nostrils flared. How dare she?

The older woman sighed before she started "Tell me, do you appreciate irony?" Liz stared dead in her eyes. "You tested positive for Erudite so you must have the intellectual capacity" She said condescendingly. Liz only rolled her eyes.
