Despite being careless with my actions, I did manage to only have three scouts chasing me in the forest that I knew like the back of my hand. I am only scared because I don't have [p/n] who I rely on in these chases. However, the scouts also don't have palismen, and have been running the same distance at a speed high enough to keep up. This isn't the worse, it could be, but it isn't.

The trees are a blur, my world gliding past me. Looking back would only slow me down and that gives the scouts more of an opportunity to catch me. I parkoured over a fallen tree, easily losing one of the three chasing me. I smiled knowing that picking up parkour early in my years was the best decision I had made, especially considering these scouts were definitely new and had little experience with jumping and climbing as a combined skill.

I mean my agility is not the best, but these guys are wearing out. Then again, so am I.

Emerging from the foliage, I almost collided with my old collapsed hideout, of course I had to leave it in a sturdy ass pile in the middle of the fucking forest. I scoffed at my past decision to just leave it there, not even making an effort to move it to a dump or anything. I gotta do that sometime, but not today.

I did however, manage to climb over it and shove some random pieces down at the two scouts. I actually got one of them square in the face with a plank that came loose from my foot kicking off. I giggled and huffed as I jumped down, similar to the flight of stairs earlier.

"Fuck, what a workout. Are you tired?" I called out to the last scout chasing me. "I feel like you're tired. It's okay! You can stop chasing me!" I laughed a little as they did start lagging behind more.

A small 'oof' came from behind me and I saw they fell down from over my shoulder, I immediately took the opportunity to go behind a tree, where they wouldn't see me and climb that bitch so fast just call me the flash. I sat on one of the thicker branches, being hidden by the leaves. Panting to catch my breath I looked down and saw the scout, and the one I hit with a board next to them holding their head. I held my breath, despite being too high for them to hear me anyway. I did feel a little bad, a few of those scouts did get hurt. But I wasn't expecting a third figure.

"Sorry Golden Guard, we were unable to catch them."

Hunter..?

"FUCK! Sorry, that was..." He coughed and went back to a composed state. "I thought for certain that removing their palismen would make them more vulnerable, and, therefore, easier to catch."

The two scouts were panting, also struggling to catch their breath. Watching Goldie behind their own masks, I mean probably, I don't know, I can't see their faces. I leant forward, still sitting on the branch of a tree, really high up, might I add. Unfortunately for me, this slight movement seemed to miraculously have caught the Golden Guard's attention.

"oh- Well who do we have here?" His sly voice wrang out, all cocky like as if the last time he saw me his tongue wasn't down my throat. Fucking Bastard.

"I'm not here, actually, this is a projection from... the human realm. I moved there, recently." I slipped back into my own cocky attitude persona, to before we... anyway.

don't be upset, don't be upset, don't be upset, don't cry

"So if I go up there, I won't be able to capture you?"

"To think you might of actually cared about me..." I whispered, the tears already threatening to spill. I did fall for the enemy.

and it hurts.
