Sang

I had watched Erebus transform Silas with glee. I had them all now, well almost. Gabe and Loki had been so resistant that Deimos finally created a pocket dimension similar to the one Erebus had been in and put them inside. Honestly, I was fed up listening to Meanie bitching all the time. So melodramatic - honestly.

Luke and Nate didn't remember me. They had adapted to the pack finally. Deimos seemed to be content with their hybrid nature. Although I think he was disappointed that somehow they still resisted the urge to take a female. You'd think after a few decades, they'd conform.

I felt his anger when behind me. Shit. He knew.

"Sang," Deimos said quietly.

"Yes?" I said, not turning to see him. I felt myself shiver as his power rolled toward me. I felt cold and alone as he spoke.

"You defied me, Sangarida. I gave you immortality and yet still you act like a petulant child. Perhaps you need a reminder of who I am, and what your place is here." His voice sliced through my soul like a knife. "Come."

My body betrayed me as it obeyed his command. I followed him, my fear growing as he led me to the grove I had seen Morpheus in once. The ground was still scorched and it seemed to be a barren wasteland surrounded by life. "Why have you come, demon," a chilling voice spoke.

"I've brought you an offering of peace, Morpheus," Deimos said as he gripped my arm and pulled me forward. "You know who she is and what she did to your vessel. Now she has harmed his mate against my wishes. I offer her to you for punishment."

Morpheus stepped from the shadows and I gasped, trying to pull away. His once soft green eyes now raged with hatred, his body seemed to have gnarled and twisted. Had I not known him once as Sean Green, I'd never guess that he was ever human. "What use would I have for her?"

Deimos chuckled, "That is entirely up to you. I want her punished."

Morpheus lifted an eyebrow. "She is conflicted. She still resents the woman, yet she also resents you. There is no light in her." He smirked, "Ironic, isn't it? You tried to save her innocence, yet it was never really there. She's been hollow for so long...perhaps, perhaps." He tapped his chin, walking closer. I noticed even Deimos seemed to shrink in his presence. Could he be more powerful than Deimos?

I felt myself sway and become disoriented as Morpheus placed his hand on my cheek. "Poor Pookie," he grinned, "He hates you, you know - this vessel. He despises you for taking away his light and love. He wants me to rip you to shreds even now."

I blinked in fear. Sean wanted me harmed that much?

"W...why do you keep talking like you and he aren't the same?" I squeaked.

His dark laughter made me feel smaller. I wanted to cry and run away. "We aren't the same. He is light and I am dark. When you broke him, he surrendered his light and I merely filled the void." He pulled me to him as Deimos released me, then whispered in my ear, "Make no mistake, Sang, when Sean resurfaces, he will destroy you, well whatever I leave for him to destroy that is."

"Resurfaces," I breathed, but he cut me off as he slammed his lips to mine. The more he kissed me, the more hopeless I felt. Tears streamed down my face as he took me to the brink of wanting to die, then he pulled away.

He shoved me backward into Deimos's arms. "Give her to the leviathans. Her own Superman will compel her to serve the colony until you say otherwise. Let her learn true submission - so deep that she craves it." He turned to go, then halted and gave Deimos a terrifying glare. "Make no mistake, demon, your fate is changing. Your plans will not go as you hoped, but in the end, you will gain the fairy's favor - at a cost."

He turned and vanished into the darkness as Deimos tugged me back to the black waters. I felt helpless, more helpless than in all those years with my stepmother. Axel and Silas came to the surface. Without a word, Silas held out his arms to me. I walked forward, sinking into the murky water and his embrace. He kissed me and pulled us below the surface as his fangs sank into my neck and I screamed.

My body thrashed and burned as I felt the metamorphosis take place. I knew what was happening, but I was powerless to stop it. When the pain finally stopped I felt my lungs take in air, despite being underwater. Looking down I saw a pale pink tail where my legs once were. "Fins fit you, Sang," Silas's voice spoke from behind me. I spun quickly, locking onto his dark eyes. For a fleeting moment, I allowed myself to hope that he might keep me as his own, but that hope was dashed. A large male swam toward us. He had a large black tail with tentacles that flowed behind him. "Sang, this is Nurc. He will be your mate. You may not refuse him in any manner, otherwise, you will be punished." Silas lifted my chin and grinned wickedly, "This isn't like the playroom we tried with you. Punishment means pain and even death. For a female to refuse her male here is the ultimate offense. He would have the right to put you out for sacrifice and not even Deimos can interfere. Do you understand?" I nodded, still reeling from Morpheus and now this. "Good." He pushed me into the embrace of Nurc who promptly wrapped his tentacles around me and sank fangs into my neck.

The effect was much like an incubus except the pull on my life force was stronger. I felt him anchoring me to him like my mind was being rewired. I needed this creature to make me complete. My tail thrashed against him as he continued to claim me. The pain of the connection was so strong that it took me a few moments to realize our pouches had opened and he was vigorously fucking me. I gave into the pleasure and pain, allowing him to take full control of me.

I submitted.

Demios

I watched as Silas presented her to the male. When he claimed her, I felt a sense of justice. While I didn't want Sang killed, she needed to remember who was in control here, and it wasn't her. My initial anger had been murderous when I realized the extent of damage she'd caused and hoped to cause to Eveleen. Now, I just needed to deal with Erebus. I really had no further use for the titan now that all the Academy men were out of the picture.

With a final glance at Sang and her new mate, I returned to the chamber where my pet lay still slumbering. I think it's time to wake her up now. I pushed the door open, then sealed it behind me. I didn't want any interruptions.

Author's Notes:  A bit of foreshadowing from Morpheus...
