Gabriel
"I see one of the flowers bloomed," I said, running my fingers over the mark. She looked up and nodded, her brows furrowed. "Talk to me, little wolf. What's going on in that pretty head of yours."
Her shoulders slumped as she sighed, "I'm confused, m'anam. I know what he's done and even now he still has his own motives, but I am drawn to him. What I really don't know is if it is the bond or real. I asked him once if he would have taken all of my free will and he readily admitted he would. What if this connection is just a by-product of years of compulsion and spells? How am I supposed to know?"
I knew the others could hear her words and fears. The connection was far stronger now than it had been. I think her transition to a goddess and Victor's transition to a god played a large part in that. Hey wait, that's it!
"I think you're asking the wrong questions, little wolf. This whole process was about you and Victor fulfilling a new destiny, but neither of you has really even dealt with that. Maybe you both need to have a conversation with the Void about your powers and this connection to Deimos," I suggested.
Her eyes lit up and she threw her arms around my neck, "You, m'anam, are a genius! I love you so much," she giggled, then kissed me. The kiss quickly turned deeper as I felt her desire flare along with mine. My hands gripped her ass and she moaned as my tongue pressed into her mouth. I needed her.
She made a squeaking sound as I vanished our clothing and pushed her back against the bed, my hand pressing her hips against the mattress as my mouth sucked on her clit. Her hands tugged at my hair as she tried to buck. I chuckled as I drove my tongue into her folds enjoying her little sounds. You are still my miracle, Eveleen. I thank the gods for you every day, I told her through the connection. Even forever isn't long enough with you, little wolf.
"Please, m'anam, make love to me," she begged as her body began to shake. I lifted to cage her beneath me, searching her eyes for any hesitation before slowly pressing inside of her. Our eyes stayed locked on one another as I pushed deep, then stilled. She felt amazing. My mind flashed to the first time we made love in that little cabin next to the mansion. I was the first man she'd given herself to and even now, I never took that for granted. "My Gabriel," she breathed as I slowly began to move inside of her.
"It's what I've always wanted to be, Eveleen - your Gabriel," my voice cracked slightly as I kissed her, both of us crying as we clung to one another, making love again and again until we fell asleep in each other's arms.
Eveleen
I woke up and just watched him sleep. I loved all of my husbands, but Gabriel...he was my center, my very soul.
"I thought he was going to lose his mind when we lost you," Loki said quietly from the doorway. "We all were hurting, but you and I both know your connection to Gabriel is far more."
I smiled at him as I gently got out of bed and looked around for clothing. Loki smirked and snapped his fingers, dressing me in a simple green dress. His color of course. We stepped outside of the room and I gently closed the door to let Gabriel sleep. "You always did see everything," I teased him. "I don't think I'd ever want to play poker with you, elskede."
"Ástvinur, you wound me," he grinned. "Now, forgive the eavesdropping, but it is second nature, so what do you plan on doing about Deimos?"
I laughed, knowing full well that they all had eavesdropped. "I think Gabriel is right. It's about damn time I learn what I'm capable of. The day I countered Nyx's spell was instinct. I need practice because one way or another I'm killing a damn Titan. To hell with imprisoning him," I growled.
