Lifeless

I woke up in an unfamiliar room. At first, I didn't know why I was lying down. I assume I was in my bed and just woke up from a sleep, but when I saw the white ceiling and the IV that was injected to me, I realize I was in a hospital.

"She's awake." Said by a familiar voice.

Flor suddenly appeared in my sight, followed by Sol, and Kuya Tyro.

"Tatawagin ko si Tito Domino." Aniya ni kuya Tyro at tuluyan kaming iniwan ng dalawang pinsan ko sa loob.

I followed him with my gazed. The bedroom door opened and I saw three people outside. Daddy, Appolo, along with my grandma. Appolo peeked out quickly when he saw me. His lips parted but then he was covered by my father's body who immediately entered the room followed by my grandma. Kuya Tyro stay outside and I saw him talk to Appolo.

What happened?

I turned to Flor as she stroked my hair. "How are you feeling?"

Naguguluhan ko siyang tiningnan at bigla ay sumagi sa isipan ko ang mga nangyari. My lips parted and I quickly helped myself to sit up but then Sol and Daddy's voice stopped me.

"Stay there." Tiimbagang na sambit ni daddy ng amba akong babangon.

"Dad." I said hoarsely.

"How are you feeling, Apo?" Kita ko ang pag-aalala sa mukha ng aking grandma.

"I'm fine."

Dad clenches his jaw. "You didn't tell me you were going to meet your mother."

"H-hindi ko po alam." Sambit ko at sinilip ang pintuan pero nakasarado na iyon. "Si Appolo po?"

"Don't look for that man. From now on, I'm cutting off your relationship with that boy." He said emphatically.

"Dominador, calm down. Your daughter is not in a good condition to talk about that matter." Saway ni grandma sa kanya.

"Dad, wala siyang kasalanan." Nanghihinang sambit ko at sinubukang umupo.

"How could you defend him after what he's done?" Galit na sambit niya at tiningnan ang kabuuan ko. "He is not good for you. Look at you, sumama ka lang sa kanya, nangyari na ito sa'yo."

"B-baka pagod lang ako, Dad." I said weakly.

Nanliliit ang mga mata niya sa akin. "I doubt that."

Flor sighed. "We already know what happened. Naikuwento ni Tita Natasia." Nanliliit ang boses niya nang sinulyapan si Grandma. "She asked Appolo's help so she can talk to you."

"Lets not talk about that spiteful woman. How could she used a boy to get what she wants?! She's a user and a nasty woman." Galit na ani ni Grandma.

Rinig ko ang pagsinghap ni Flor at ang pagtiimbagang ng aking Ama.

"Appolo is not at fault. He just wants... to help." I said almost in a whisper.

"I said stop defending him, Anastasia!" Umalingawngaw ang boses ni daddy sa kwarto dahilan para matahimik ako.

Nakita ko ang pagpasok ni Tito Sam at Tita Auster.

"Kuya, nandito na ang doctor." Ani at sinulyapan ako at si Grandma.

"Son, don't make this worst. Let's settle this once and for all." Grandma said seriously with gritted teeth.

Daddy sighed heavily at look at me darkly.

"I want you to end it with that boy." He said with finality.

Pagkatapos niyang sabihin iyon ay walang pasubaling tinalikuran kami at lumabas. Bumigat ang pakiramdam ko at agad namuo ang luha sa mga mata ko. I bit my lip to stop my tears.
