Holding Hands

Pumasok kami sa loob ng restaurant kung saan sila Abby at Isabella.

"Yes, ma'am, sir. Table for two?" A waitress greeted us while holding a menu.

"Uh. No. We're here to meet my friends." Nakangiting sambit ko. Ngunit ang mata nito ay nasa tabi ko kung nasaan si Appolo, kaya unti unti ay nawala din ang ngiti ko.

My eyes narrowed at the waitress and looked up at Appolo next to me who’s eye is looking around. He had his hand on my waist. He looks down on me when he felt my gaze and pulled me close to him.

"Your friends are there." He pointed ahead.

"Tss." Umirap ako at naunang naglakad. I felt his hand chased my hand when I got away from him.

I immediately met the gaze of my friends at one of the tables near the window. I frowned when I saw that Flor was also there, along with Kuya Tyro. I thought...napabuntong hininga ako sa huli.

Flor eyes immediately darted behind me, her armed cross and she was raising her eyebrows. I then saw Kuya Tyro beside her frowned. Meanwhile, Isabella was smiling at me, while Abby pursed her lips while suppressing a smile.

When we finally got close, they all looked down at our hand.

Abby stood up followed by Ysa. Lumapit siya sa akin samantalang nanatili si Ysa sa kinatatayuan niya.

"Greek God!" Abby said in an excited tone. She kissed me then looked at Appolo behind me.

Lumapit siya sa tenga ko at binulungan ako. "Bakit magkasama kayo kaninang umaga? Saan ka natulog, huh?" Her voice dropped while gritting her teeth.

Tumikhim ako dahilan para lumayo siya.

"I didn't know my cousin are here." I said in a low voice and looked at the two people I didn't expect to be here.

Napapakurap siyang ngumiti sa akin. "Kakarating lang nila. Nasabi ko kay Flor."

I smiled sarcastically at her. "You really can't shut your mouth, can you?"

"Ah...heh heh." She faked a smile while Flor raised an eyebrow at me.

"Why? you don't want us to be here?” sarkastikong sambit ni Flor na halatang narinig ako. Agad siyang tumayo at lumapit sa akin.

“We're all worried, Nasia. Tito Domino called us and asked if you slept in our condo. Of course, I told him no. I thought you were at home." Flor said and glanced at the person next to me. "Yun pala kasama mo ang ex mo."

I sighed. "I checked in at the hotel last night."

"Hindi ka nag-paalam kay Tito? bakit hindi ka umuwi?" Kuya Tyro asked with a frown then glanced at Appolo behind me.

"I don't want to go home. I want to be alone." Seryosong sagot ko.

"May nangyari ba?" Dagdag tanong ni Kuya Tyro.

"Obviously." Si Flor ang sumagot. "She suddenly wanted to go home last night while we were all celebrating her birthday. That's not her." Flor glanced at Appolo and her eyes turn to slit. "I wonder why."

"Its my fault. We fought and she got mad at me." Apollo replied. "I'm sorry." He said sincerely, which made my lips parted.

All eyes are on him.

"Akala ko ba may girlfriend ka. Bakit hawak mo ang kamay ng pinsan ko?" Humalukipkip si Flor at matalim siyang tinitigan.

"Flor." Saway ko pero sinulyapan niya lang ako at hindi nagpaawat.
