My target

"Abby, bilisan mo na diyan. We might miss the game." Tawag ko sa kaibigan ko habang nagmamadali na iligpit ang mga gamit ko pagkatapos lumabas ng teacher namin sa last period.

"Para sa'n pa? Kanina pa nagsimula ang laro, Nasia. Besides, that's not the real game yet, it's just one of their basketball practices."

"Kahit na. I still want to watch them play."

Kagaya ng madalas kong ginagawa ay pinapanood ko ang mga basketball practice niya. Sabi, para daw yun sa nalalapit na intramurals ng school, and there's also a possibility na kalabanin nila ang ibang school during interhight.

She lazily stared at me. "Sino? Sila o siya?"

I smirked evilly.

"You sound like you all want to watch them play even when its obvious na si Appolo lang naman talaga ang pinapanood mo." She added as she put her small back pack behind her back.

"Whatever you say. Let's just go and watch the game." Balewala ko sa sinabi niya at hinila na siya palabas ng classroom para makaderetso na sa gymnasium kung saan madalas maglaro ng basketball si Appolonius Leander Lorenzana.

Yes! I do some background check and find some personal information about him. I just recently found out that he is Appolo Leander Lorenzana, also known as Appolo. The point guard of our school basketball team. He's now in his last school year in junior high, grade 10, star section, and one of the most handsome and smartest students in their batch.

He's also the eldest of the Lorenzana's siblings and is the heiress of the Aeolus Mining and Power Corporation though I have not gathered information if he will also inherit the Lorenzana Investment Corporation (LIC). All I know is that they are very reach just like the Dela Vega, Hernandez, Villareal, General, Vergara, Ortega, and Zaragoza, which are the most powerful families in the business industry.

I also found out that one of my fathers family businesses and their business is a rival. My father is currently handling the De Zarate  Corporation which is currently the leading power production and energy services company in the Philippines. It was handed by my grandmother to him. I haven't yet asked my father about this. I've never been curious about our companies, but because of him, I became interested.

Napabaling ako sa kabilang bleachers ng marinig ang tilian nila. I realize that I'm not the only one who's looking forward to his games.

Binalingan ko ang mga babae sa tabi ng bleacher na halos mapaos sa kakasigaw para suportahan ang kani-kanilang team lalo na si Appolo.

There game today was more fine than the other day. I noticed that they have a new opponent today. Matatangkad at magagaling din kagaya nila. This is a good game to watch. Iyong walang dayaan at malinis kung maglaro.

Unlike before, I remained silent while watching them play the game. Pumapalakpak kapag nakaka shoot siya ng bola samantalang tumitili naman ang mga babae sa kabilang bleachers.

Pumwesto kami sa wala masyadong tao, dahil ayaw ko ng maingay na katabi. Mabuti nalang din at tahimik itong katabi ko, na kagaya ko ay tahimik lang din na pumpalakpak.

Mabilis na naagaw ng mga babae ang atensyon ni Appolo ng bumaling siya sa bleachers nila. Nangunot ang noo ko at sumimangot ng natatawa siyang tinapik ng isa sa mga kasama niya para asarin. Mas lalong nangunot ang noo ko ng tumawa din siya. Siguro inaasar sa isa sa mga babae sa bleachers.

Sinulyapan ko ang mga babae sa bleachers na nagsisigawan at may itinutulak na magandang babae.

"Papansin." Bulong ko at umikot ang mga mata.
