I know it has been a few days since I got shot but it still hurts. I am still limping but you know what this week hasn't been so bad. I got to hang out with Russia at least. I maybe should let my leg heal for a few more days before breaking in again.
Well, at least my birthday is today I told my friends right at least I hope. I lay in my bed leg stings when walk so I am stuck. I wonder what my friends are getting me for my birthday if they remember.
Japan POV
My alarm goes off I slam my fist into the alarm and get up. What's today I get my phone and look at the day oh it's just July 4. WAIT IT'S JULY 4 AMERICA-KUN BIRTHDAY FUCK FUCK FUCK WHAT DO I DO. I run through my room getting my clothes on what should I get Meri umm what does he like?
Wait what does he like? Maybe a new jacket because the jacket has rips and tears in it. It may be a design choice but I think he'll like it. But what jacket do I get him? I should take a trip to the store to go look.
Russia POV
I normally wake up pretty early but I could not get my mind off America and did not forget his birthday I know what to get him too I just need to make a quick trip to the store.
I put on a suit and tie I don't know why I just want America to feel special. I walk outside my house I almost step on a rose it was a beautiful red with some thorns I picked them out of the stem and unlike most times I see a rose I put the rose in my pocket due to the beauty of it. I put it so the top of the rose was showing out of my pocket get in my car and drive to the store.
I make it to the store and see out of all people Japan running around the store trying to find something. I am guessing for America. I go to the plushie aisle and I know how much America loves plushies so I get an eagle plush. The plush was cute and it's for a cute little country wait NO NO NO! Russia stop thinking about that we're just friends. I start to blush due to this thought.

I make my way to the self check out and it turns out Japan had finally found something to gift America how could you forget his birthday?
America POV
I am still laying on my bed what should I do to burn time until my friends come if they remember, You know what I always liked to bake. So I go into the kitchen and start making some cupcakes luckily I have all the ingredients. Damn, my leg hurts a much.
I start to form the shape of the cupcakes and put them into the oven and take my oversized mitts off.
Time skip~
The cupcakes were almost done I could smell the sweet smell of the cupcakes from the oven and soon I hear a door knock at the News station door. It was scary that Japan and Russia both had something in their hands probably presents. They both said happy birthday and walked in. I then had my phone go off it was my Mom and well Dad they sent me a happy birthday message. Why did they not come over we live in a small town it is like a 10-minute walk here.
I soon hear the oven beep and I go to take the cupcakes out. "Wow America-Kun the smells so gooooood," Japan says. "Thanks" I respond as I add the frosting to the cupcake.
Russia POV
Well, when I came here I did not expect to come here to see America making cupcakes but they smell delightful. Then after America was done adding frosting said "You can eat some" Japan's eyes opened in excitement "Thank you America-kun" as she started to destroy the cupcakes.
I was able to take one cupcake and took a bite and holy shit it was so good my mouth felt like it was going through Haven and back.
Soon Japan decided to give her a present and it was a sweater that said Nato and he was so happy and loved the sweater and thanked Japan. With that reaction, I don't know if he would like my present because I know he like plushies but he can use the sweater what is he going to do with a plushie?
I soon search my pockets to find something to make my present better. The only thing in my pocket was the red rose from earlier. Well, America could take it the wrong way but I very pretty so then I hand the plushie and rose to America. American has a grin on his face when he saw the plushie but soon when he saw the rose too his face went so red from blushing. Japan almost screamed in excitement.
America POV
Omg omg omg why did Russia give me a flower I thought trying to cover my blush with my hand. I soon try to make myself look more happy than a blushing mess. I could see Russia grin a bit as I he handed me the rose and the plushie. Japan walked up to me and whispered to me "It okay to blush America-kun". Which only made me blush more and I said thank you to Russia.
Russia POV
I made America blush does that mean he likes me or am I over reacting what if he likes me what if he is just embarrassed and does not know how to react to something like this do I even like him because I feel very happy but scared of rejection I feel like we are just going to be friends but I should at least try. Right?
