Poem #2

There's so many memories I have of the things I love!
My memories carry from the adventures with my brother to Phoenix Wonderland,
but I also cherish my childhood friends
Who are always there for me
My childhood wasn't all sunshine and rainbows,
but everywhere we went truly felt magical
With us four, we're pretty much unstoppable!
There is nothing we can't overcome
as long as we have each other

From stargazing to music and band practice,
everyone made it fun!
But you're special to me
Just like the others
Even though I had a lot of bad memories from my childhood,
I definitely remember the positive ones
Especially when you were there for me

When I felt lonely, when I was the only one in the room,
You visited me other than my family
I had hope that I would make it out alive,
because you gave me that hope
Hona and Shiho couldn't make it, and I didn't mind at all!
Since your presence alone gave me the strength I needed to return to you

I will never forget the impact you had on me
Just being by my side
Even with all the seemingly frequent and constant injections laced into my body,
You gave me so much courage to keep pushing forward
That's why I didn't give up
Because I knew that a lot of people had my back
And believed in me
And cared about me
The fact that I was healthy enough to return to you
means to so much to me as one of your childhood friends.
