Since we were all "best friends", Annie and Blakely organized a yacht party as quick as thunder now that I promised them Mitch and possibly the other bachelor men too. 

   But I haven't promised anything. I just said "I can". Kailangan nilang malaman ang diperensiya n'on dahil baka malugi sila sa mga susunod na kasunduan na gagawin nila sa lupain ng Punta Arena. 

   If anything, I was amused from it all, hindi lang nga iyon in-obvious dahil halatang may advantage naman ako doon. Nasilayan ko ang bulto ni Kostya mula sa kabilang dako ng deck na sa kalagitnaan ng kasiyahan ay ngumingiti rin at humahawak ng isang kulay asul na inumin. 

   Nilapitan ako ni Nate at binulungan. "What's going on?"

   I looked up at him and placed my hands around his shoulders, smiling suggestively as I let my fingers play around the collar of his thin buttoned shirt. His eyes were on me as I quoted him on one of his many taglines, which was to "believe all of my strategies". 

   Iniwan ko siya doon to catch up with my biggest pursuit. If those girls started betraying her though, I also wouldn't stand and watch. 

   SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY Remix was playing from the speakers as I oozed my way to where Kostya stood, and I found it more pithy that the girls chose a playlist like that with me around. I caught eyes with Annie and Blakely hanging around the tip of the railing with Mitch and a couple of friends, Blakely winking at me supportively when she saw me stop in front of Kostya. 

   "Hi," bati ko sa kaharap ko.

   "Oh, hey, Love," bati niya rin pabalik at hindi mapigilang mapatingin sa'kin pababa nang inanggulo ko ang katawan ko. "Great party. I heard ikaw raw ang naka-isip nito. You're actually friends now with Annie and Blake!"

   I hid my smile and shrugged delicately, pinapakita sa kanya ang hubad kong mga balikat sa maliit na top na suot ko na hindi ko alam kung matatawag pa bang damit. It cut just to cover my chest as it pointed like a leaf to my bare abdomen. My skirt was designed with ruffles, pero hindi ito lumilipad sa hangin 'di kagaya ng buhok ko na sadya kong plinantsa at ngayon ay hinahawi ng mabining hangin. 

   "You look beautiful, Love."

   Ngumiti ako ng malapad. "Talaga? Thank you, Kostya." 'Yun ang hinintay ko kanina. "You look handsome as well."

   Pinasadahan niya ng mga daliri ang buhok niya. "You think we should be drinking early at two in the afternoon?"

   I licked my lips. "Yeah. Hindi ba 'yon ang ginagawa ng lahat?" I waved a hand at our crowd. Tumawa si Kostya at dinilaan din ang labi, involuntarily reflecting me.

   "Sumama ka sa'kin," sabi ko at hinatak ang kamay niya. 

   Sumulyap siya sa mesa. "Where?"

   "Huwag mo nang alalahanin ang handa. Hindi ka naman guard diyan, 'di ba?" biro ko at nakita ang ngiti niya. Mabilis ko siyang dinala sa makipot na daan at dumikit sa barandilla. I opened a door and smiled at Kostya secretly, before going inside the main room where no one occupied. A long couch was there, at hindi umuuga ang yate ni Mitch dahil nakahimpil ito sa kalagitnaan ng asul na karagatan. 

   I pushed Kostya on the green couch and settled my knee on his thigh, holding his shoulder with one hand and his bicep on the other. Tumingala siya sa'kin na tila na o-overwhelm bago tumawa. "Woah, woah. What's up?"
