Last time on Spider-Man, New York's hero made a triumphant return as Dr. Otto Octavius kidnapped Mary Jane Watson in his pursuit to seek out the web-head. On the train Spider-Man had three things he needed to focus on. 1: Stopping the train from running off the tracks and killing so many innocent people, 2: Stopping Dr. Octavius from unleashing his biggest plan yet, and 3: Saving the person who means more to him than anything or anyone else, which ultimately left the hero in an unconscious state after being defeated by Octavius. After the fighting Harry is seen looking down at the floor waiting, until Octavius is seen standing outside the window with Spider-Man in his arms.

Dr. Octavius: Where do you want him?

Harry points over to the couch, and Octavius goes further into the conversation, the real reason he's there...

Dr. Octavius: And the tritium?

Harry goes over to a vault and opens it, only to get pushed out of the way by Octavius who looks at the tritium with a serious look on his face.

Dr. Octavius: [Sinister whisper] Yes.

Dr. Octavius is seen leaving the building and Harry looks over to Spider-Man, grabs a knife and slowly makes his way over to the hero of New York City.

Harry: If only I could cause you the pain that you've caused me. First we'll see who's behind the mask. [Reaches for mask] I can look into your eyes as you die.

Harry takes off the mask and underneath was someone he'd never expect Spider-Man to be...

Harry: [Shocked] N/n. No. It can't be.

Y/n, now revealed to Harry, gets off the couch and takes the wiring off of him. Once he's free from the binding, he walks over to Harry with a very worried yet serious look on his face.

Y/n: Harry. Where is she? Where is he keeping her? He's got MJ.

Harry: [Confused] No. All he wanted was the tritium.

Y/n: [Whispers] Tritium? [Realizes] He's making the machine again. When that happens, she'll die, along with half of New York. Now, where is he?

Harry: [Whispers; serious] Y/n... you killed my father.

Y/n: [Conflicted; gets back on track] There are bigger things happening here than me and you. [Concerned for MJ] Harry, please, I've got to stop him.

Spider-Man looks behind him to see the defeated Dr. Octavius and sees him trying to get back on his feet and attempts to finish this fight, only for his four mechanical arms to be soaked to the brim. Spider-Man makes his way over to the fallen doctor and bends to his level, hoping to get his help with this situation.

Y/n: Dr. Octavius. [Octavius gives Spider-Man confused look; removes mask, revealing himself] We have to shut it down. Please tell me how.

Dr. Octavius: Y/n Parker? [Light chuckle] "Brilliant but lazy."

Y/n: Look at what's happening. We must destroy it.

Dr. Octavius: I can't destroy it. I won't!

Dr. Octavius uses his last bit of strength to wrap one of his arms around Y/n's neck and attempts to choke him to death, not before Y/n tells him something he once told the young hero.

Y/n: [Holding in his air; makes Octavius remember] You once spoke to me about intelligence. That it was a gift to be used for the good of mankind.

Dr. Octavius: [Nods] A privilege.
