Nat's POV

I drove up to Tony's new house that he and Pepper had been living in ever since Thanos blipped everybody away. I parked the car before opening the back door and unbuckling the sleeping child. I never understood how she sleeps so much or sleeps through so many noises. I picked her up before grabbing her bag since i wasn't quite sure how long this mission would be as i walked up to the front door. I saw Stark on the front porch as he smiled up at me.

" Morgan is inside and very excited to see her best friend might i add. I believe Pep is in the kitchen making sandwiches for the girls." I thanked him as i walked inside closing the door as Morgan ran up to me a big grin. I put my finger to my lip to make sure she was quiet as she got into a fight pose making me chuckle. " Is she sleeping?" she questioned making me nod. " Yea fell asleep on the way." Morgan groaned before running away.

I walked into the kitchen to find Pepper hard at work on some sandwich's. She smiled at me before her eyes soften at the sleeping girl. " She always seems to sleep when you drop her off." she laughed as i nodded. " Tell me about it! she sleeps 24/7." she giggles as she finished the sandwich's before calling in morgan.

" Well i best wake up this sleepyhead so i can head out." I lightly woke up Y/N as she just blinked at me making me smile. "Hey hunny. Mama has a mission so Pepper is watching you okay?" she looked over as Pepper waved making her smile. " Okay mama."

" I'll be back shortly baby. See you in a minute." i whispered in her ear before kissing her cheek. I Pepper handed Y/N her sandwich as i left making me smile. " Let's go stark we don't have all day!" he rolled his eyes but followed me to my car.

Y/Ns POV
I had been playing with Morgan for the whole day! It was awesome! I never get to play with her this much usually mama is here by now to pick me up. I yawned as we had just finished dinner and I didn't want to sleep since Mama wasn't back yet i never liked to sleep without mama it just didn't feel the same as other people.. Pepper looks at me worried before sighing. " Hunny. I know you like to sleep only when your with your mama but she may be gone a little while longer hunny." I whined and looked down.

" It's okay hunny why don't we go watch some tv?" she questioned as i nodded. She leaned down picking me up as she walked over to the couch setting down as she put on some cartoons. I laid my head on her shoulder as i watched the cartoons my eyes feeling heavy as i tried to fight them to stay awake till mama got back.

I woke up to a door closing making me open my eyes? When did i fall asleep? I looked up to see Happy? He smiled at as i looked at him confused. " Where pepper?" i asked tiredly. " She got a call she had to go attend to kid she'll be back." she smiled sadly as i just yawned. I must have fallen asleep again since when i woke up again all the avengers where standing in the living room some on the couches.

I lifted my head off of who i assumed was happy as i yawned and looked around confused. Man i really need to stop falling asleep i miss to much.. " Hey hunny.." Pepper walked over to me and crouched down holding my hands. " Pepper!" i smiled as i hugged her making her giggled. " you left me.." she sighed and looked down tears in her eyes making me raise my eyebrow.

" No cry.. What wrong?" i asked. " It's nothing sweetie. I didn't want to leave you i swear but remember that mission?" I nodded as she sighed. " Well you know Tony, Morgan's daddy. he died." i looked at her before hugging her. "I'm sorry pepper.." i mumbled. " Me too sweetie me too."

I looked over to the side of me after we pulled away to look at all my surroundings and saw Auntie Wanda?! I gasped and tackled her as she giggled. " I was starting to think you'd never look over here.." she giggled. " You're back!!" i yelled as she held onto me so i didn't fall." she nodded. " But how.. What how are all you back? Mama says you all snapped away forever.." i looked confused as they all look down.

Auntie Wanda held my cheeks before letting a tear slip. " Detka i'm sorry hunny. We were all gone, but the mission they all did was to get stones to bring us back. Your mama and Uncle Clint went to a mountain to get one called the soul stone. Your mama sacrificed herself for all of us to come back hunny. If she didn't i wouldn't be here." i looked at her unsure if i heard that correctly. " Did you understand that all hunny?" i nodded as tears fell out of my eyes.

" I just wanted mama.." i sobbed as i held my aunt tightly. "I know hunny i know." She sighed as she tried to quiet my sobs while all the avengers just walked us with pity over the smallest romanoff just losing their mother.

Maybe one day i'd understand why she had done it but right now she was the only one in the world i wanted. If only that purple giant never got stones to vanish half the planet i'd still have my mama..
