My mom was a crying mess, and so was I. None of us got sleep at all that night. I couldn't bare to think that my sister isn't with us anymore. All because of a stupid car accident. She was way too young. This was way too horrendous to be true. I felt like this was a nightmare. I just wanna wake up. I felt bad for Roman for having to deal with me. There wasn't one moment in the last hour that I haven't stopped crying. Kenzy was a blessing in my life. She helped me through childhood, even though she was 10 years younger than me. We were always there for each other. But she is gone now, but she is still by my side at the same time.
I stayed in my room the whole day after that. I didn't want to walk out and see her room, her clothes, her belongings. It made my heart break even more.
"Want me to call Stephanie?" Roman whispered, rubbing my back. I nodded slightly and buried my face in his chest.
Roman POV
I decided to call Stephanie to tell her that y/n probably won't be attending smackdown this friday, due to the passing of her sister.
"Hey Steph."
"Hey Roman. Whats up?"
"I don't think y/n will be able to attend Smackdown this week. We recently found out that her sister passed and she won't be mentally ready by then." I said. I heard a faint gasp from the other side of the call.
"I am so incredibly sorry. Tell her we are thinking about her. And yes she can pass on coming to Smackdown this week. Thank you for telling me."
"Thank you Stephanie."
I ended the call and set my phone down on the bed. Y/n cried herself to sleep on my lap. I felt so bad for her. I know what it is like to lose a sibling, and it hurts like hell. I knew how close her and her sister were. It was just like me and my brother. I lost him 5 years ago, and I'm still not over it, and I don't think I'll ever get over it. Ever.
Kenzy POV
I could feel myself slowly fading as I was placed in the ambulance. Some lunatic just ran into me on the highway and my car flipped over. The airbags popped out, but I hit my head on the roof of the car, and thats when I felt myself slowly fading away.
All I heard was sirens blaring over my head. Paramedics placed a breathing mask on me, trying to keep my breathing normal. I was soon rushed inside the hospital and immediately taken into surgery. If I didn't get the surgery done, I would've died, or miraculously lived but would suffer from intense memory loss.
As soon as the surgeons placed medicine into me through the needle, I felt myself drift to sleep fast. I felt myself slowly fading while I was fast asleep, which was a unique feeling. All of a sudden, I saw my sister. I saw my sister out in the ring wrestling and having the time of her life. I was in the audience, clapping and cheering loudly. She held a women's championship high in the air and stood over her opponent. I am so incredibly proud of her. She has accomplished so much in her life, even after everything with our dad. I am so proud of her and I love her so much. So, so much.
~3 hours later~
I woke up in a bright room. I was all alone, and the lights were dimmed. It kind of reminded me of some horror movie scene. It was honestly creepy.
"Hello?" I asked. There was no response, but the sound of my heart beating through the monitor was the only noise that was made. I heard the sound of people walking past my room, but no one entered at all. I rubbed my eyes and slowly sat up, taking a closer look at the room.
I sat there in silence and confusion for another 15 minutes. Finally, I heard a tug on the door, and it soon opened. I looked up, and a nurse came walking in. She looked up, and her eyes widened in shock. She looked like she seen a ghost.
"Oh my god." She mumbles. She quickly exits the room and I hear her voice yell. "Kenzy Y/n is awake. She is conscious!" She quickly enters back into my room and checks my heart rate.
"Where is my family? My mom?" I ask. She looks down at me with even more shock.
"Do you remember your relatives?" She asked. I gave her a 'are you stupid' look. "Of course I do. They are my family." I responded. Nurses soon came piling into my room and took multiple tests on me.
"This is a miracle." One of them said. I looked at them with confusion. "What do you mean?" I asked the nurse. She looked over at me.
"Your heart rate stopped after the surgery. It's a miracle that it started up again." She said. The doctors continued take multiple tests. I sat there, just processing what the hell is happening.
Carly (y/n's mom) POV
I was sitting in my living room with my heart shattered. I lost my daughter. She was way too young. She hasn't had a boyfriend yet, she hasn't had her first drink yet, she hasn't made love yet. She missed out and left us too early. Its just too early.
She was building up a wrestling career, believe it or not. After the few years of seeing her older sister wrestling, she got inspired. She spent this last year training herself to be able to get a spot up by her sister. But now, its never going to happen.
I sat on the couch, never feeling more depressed. I felt like the whole world stopped, and I was trapped in this depressing, horrible feeling. I was snapped out of my daydreaming when the sound of my phone ringed. I looked over, at it was the hospital. What do they want?
I let out a sigh and answered the phone. "Hello?" I asked, sniffling a little after.
"Good morning Mrs. L/n. We are here to inform that your daughter Kenzy L/n has regained consciousness and her heart is beating normal again."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Kenzy just came back to life? Like that? How? How is that possible?
"I-Is she okay? How is she." I asked sitting up from the couch. I soon caught my brother's attention. He looked over at me with a confused look.
"She is stable, and surprisingly remembers mostly everything. This is certainly a miracle. You are truly blessed." The nurse says. I start crying again, but this time tears of joy and relief.
"Can I come visit her?" I ask.
"Yes you may, we just finished running tests and she is stable. She will need to stay in the hospital for another week so we can keep an eye on her."
"Thank you so much!" I thanked. I hung up the phone and looked over at Steve.
"Kenzy is awake! Her heart is beating again!" I said with excitement.
"What? How?" He asked, surprised.
"I don't know. They said that it just started beating again and that it was a miracle. We have to go visit her!" I said. Steve agreed and packed his stuff. I did as well, and we rushed to the hospital. I guess miracles do really happen.
