"Open the door Home..Open the doooor!"

(OPEN THE NOOOOOOR. OPEN THE NOOOOOOR 😭)

I awoke to the sounds of my husband's voice, strangely afar from me. I let out a long groan, sitting up in the bed to rub my eyes. I was still tired, looking over at the red alarm clock reading 3:30 a.m. I took a look to my side and noticed something or someone was missing.

Wally's side of the bed was a mess, however his side was left empty. I gasped, quickly jumping to my wife instincts. My head spun around in directions to look for him, in hopes he was just in the bathroom or in the darkness. "Honey? Honey, where-"

"Open the door Hooooome!" I knew that monotone voice to well now, especially having to live with it for the rest of my life now. I sighed in realization already knowing that was going on. "Not again.." i grumble to myself letting my body slip off the edge of the bed.

For some odd reason, Home has been locking Wally outside, usually when he gets him mad. I never really liked asking Wally about it, especially since he hates bringing it up and the subject alone gets him jumpy. I even tried to talk to Home about it, however came to no avail once he continued to dismiss it.

I went out the bedroom and down the stairs towards the front door, where I could hear the desperate banging from my poor husband that was still begging to be let in. I reached for the doorknob only to find it locked, already knowing this was Home's doing. I huffed through my nose and looked up at his eyes with an annoyed sigh. "Home, please open the door.." i asked. Home could tell that I was both tired and annoyed by his shenanigans this late at night, so kindly he unlocked the door for me.

Home's door swing open and in came Wally falling face first into the house. He let out a muffled groan from the impact staying in the ground. I admit, the sight of it made me giggle a little as I kneeled to his side..
"You okay Honey..?" I asked, taking him by his arms to help him up. Wally stumbled from side to side and finally managed to regain his balance with a dizzy face. "Y-Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Thank you Darling." He gives a tired smile, rubbing his eyes with his index and thumb fingers.

Once I was able to get a better look at his face, I could visibility see the dark circles underneath his eyes.

This scene made me frown realizing, he must've been kicked out during the early events of the night while I was possibly asleep. I couldn't imagine how long he could've been outside for, just the thought alone of him knocking on the door and yelling broke me to pieces.

"Jesus, how long did he have you outside for this time..?" I took his face in my hands, gently rubbing my thumbs underneath his dark circles. Wally only stared down at me with a nervous chuckle. He took a hold of my wrists and took my hands off his face. "It's nothing to be worried about sweetheart, come on let's get you-"

"how long has he had you outside for." My voice was more firm and commanding than earlier. He was taken aback by my sudden firmness, and seeing the clear seriousness in my expression, his smile faltered.

"About 2 to 3 hours.." he mumbled underneath his breath, not wanting Home to hear. My whole expression dropped in shock at his confession, putting my hands back to my sides. This was the longest Home's ever locked him outside for. The most he would leave him outside would be for around an hour, and that's with me even trying to force the door open for Wally.
