"YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE ON MY MIND AND YOU KNOW THE DEAL"

___

Jennifer's POV:

I applied lip gloss while admiring my reflection in the mirror. I'd opted for a rather daring outfit, especially for Tom. Afterwards, I'd like to say that my outfits are always eye-catching.

I suddenly heard my bedroom door creak and turned towards the source of the noise, which was none other than Oliver, who was leaning against my doorstep.

"Can I help you?" I said without taking my eyes off the mirror.

"Where you goin dressed like that?" he said, ogling me up and down to show his disapproval.

"None of your business." I retorted, dramatically putting down my lip gloss to show my displeasure.

A honking noise interrupted our exchange and I rushed to my bedroom window, closely followed by Oliver, to find out where the noise was coming from.

I finally spotted Tom downstairs, leaning against his car with his arms crossed.

When he saw me through the window, his face lit up.

"I'm coming!" I shouted, closing my bedroom window.

I sat down on my bed to put on my heels when I saw that Oliver still hadn't left my room.

"Jenn, I'm not feeling him," he finally said as he sat down beside me.

"You don't even know the guy," I remarked, arching an eyebrow.

"James told me he was unreliable." he let out with a sigh.

I was astonished at what my brother had just told me. James didn't know Tom and yet he'd taken the liberty of judging him and telling my brothers about him.

I got up and ran down the stairs, still closely followed by Oliver. I was about to open the front door when my little brother got in my way.

"I'm serious, Jenn. He looks unreliable to me as well," he said strictly.

"Oliver, you know I love you, but suck my dick." I say as I push him aside and open the door.

It wasn't my little brother who was going to tell me what to do, was it? I was old enough to be responsible for my own decisions, right or wrong.

I made my way towards Tom, who was still leaning against his car, and finally reached him.

"Did you miss me?" I asked, giving him an innocent look.

"Terribly." he replied, kissing my cheek.

He opened my door and I settled into his car, he then went around to settle on the driver's side.

It was my first time in his car, and it had to be said that it looked much more modern than mine.

"Ready?" he asked as he started the car.

"Always."

We finally arrived where the race was to take place, which was in fact the same place where James had challenged Tom, Bill, Georg and Gustav.
