John's POV:

I looked everywhere for my pack of cigarettes, which I couldn't find anywhere. By this time I was desperate, Jennifer was already mad at me, and on top of that, I was making her wait.

"You lookin for that?" I heard a familiar voice behind me.

I turned and found Fred, my supplier, holding my cigarette pack.

He approached me and I told myself that these were my last moments on this earth.

"You're going to listen to me now," he said, bringing his mouth close to my ear.

I said nothing, unable to move a muscle for fear he'd shoot me.

"I'm offering you a deal you can't but accept," he continued with a smile in his voice.

"I'm willing to forgive your debt - after all, I've got enough money - but in exchange, I want you to convince your sister to go out with me," he announced, stepping back a little so he could look me in the eye.

I watched him for a few minutes, thinking that Jennifer had done worse when it came to going out with a guy. It's true that this guy was pretty good looking, even if he was a drug supplier, but that was just a little detail.

"Deal," I say, holding out my hand.

He smiled and shook my hand, handing me my pack of cigarettes.

Jennifer's POV:

I was alone, still waiting for that buffoon John, and Fred had left me saying he had to sort something out.

I told myself I couldn't try anything with Fred, even though he was incredibly attractive, because the reason I'd decided to stop with Tom was because of his gangster bullshit.

But hey, revenge appealed to me. Plus, he was a friend of his, so that was even better.

I decided to approach the place where John had, according to him, lost his cigarettes because it was getting long, when I came across our favorite couple making out, again.

I wasn't going to let it go this time.

"Tom, I think you've lost something," I said, patting him on the shoulder.

He turned to me, looking guilty and angry at the same time. I wanted to smack his pretty face up.

"What?" he replied aggressively.

"Your dignity," I said, giving him my best smile.

Brittany scoffed and Tom's jaw dropped to the floor.

"What now, you think you're so much better than me?" he said, glowering at me.

"Aw Tom, I always knew I was so much better than you," I said, turning on my heel and directing him toward my brother.
