Jennifer's POV:

the sun was stinging my eyes, so i decided to bury my head under my pillow.

Tom's arm around me squeezed a little tighter, as if he was afraid i'd leave, and i smiled a little before finally opening my eyes to find Tom still asleep.

i leaned over to look at the time on the alarm clock and jumped out of bed when I saw that it was 11 a.m.

you'll say 11 a.m. isn't that late, but compared to someone asleep next to me, i have a job.

"come baaaack." i heard Tom grunt as he tapped the now vacant space next to him.

i rolled my eyes as i rushed to the bathroom before turning to Tom one last time, "get the fuck up Tom."

Tom grabbed my pillow and stuck it over his head in protest, but i didn't pay him too much attention.

what a shame.

returning from my shower, i wandered into my room to get some clothes and discovered Tom sitting on the bed, half asleep, half up.

when he saw me only in my towel looking for clothes, he frowned and rubbed his eyes.

"did you shower without me?" he said as if i'd betrayed him.

"i told you to wake up, Tom," i said, grabbing a pair of panties and slipping them on.

he grunted before getting up and walking over to me while i slipped on my bra.

"don't you want to stay in bed with me all day?" he whined, helping me fasten my bra before putting his arms around me.

I laughed, resting my head back on his shoulder, "believe me, i would love it."

he kissed me before letting me go so i could get dressed. he sat back down on the bed, watching me intently.

i turned to him, crossing my arms, "what are you doing?" I asked with an amused smile.

"i'm just observing what's mine," he said, shrugging his shoulders with a small smile.

i rolled my eyes before turning around and getting dressed for real. i'd opted for a denim mini-skirt, a pink tank top and matching heels.

i turned around to show Tom the result, who was playing with his piercing with his tongue.

"you're such a tease Jennifer Toussaint."

i rolled my eyes again and turned around to face my mirror. those kind of phrases made me cringe and jump on him at the same time.

"go get dressed, there's people that are working today." i said while applying some lip gloss.

he grunted but went to get dressed anyway.

"are you working with James today?" he asked as he pulled on his shirt.

i nodded, "yes, it's going to be so much better now that we're talking again," i said with a small smile.
