Chapter 10: Bonding

Lian is always in my mind. Wait, she's only in my mind and I don't care with others. Maybe I have to bond with my peers. I think I'm also forgetting them. It's weekend now so I called up Joey to set a hang out.

We agreed to have a hang out in a simple mall to be with each other and have casual talks. We've also agreed to invite Zac, Jolmin, Scafford and Bert. We had a conversation in a group chat to set where and when all of us shall meet.

What: Hang out in a mall
When: Today, later, 4 in the afternoon

They all agreed to join and another friend of mine, Jhay requested if he can come. Jhay was also a good friend to me and I know that we trust each other. Although, he is not that close with Scafford and Zac, still, he can join us if that is what he wishes. Since he is also a member of that group chat he knew about this so instead of requesting in the group to also join us, he just chatted me through a direct message because maybe he is shy to send a message in the group chat. But because I also like Jhay to he part of this bonding, I approved his wish to come, then I later on told it to the group chat and everything was fine because all agreed he Jhay can come.

By 3:41 in the afternoon, I'm on my way traveling to that mall to meet my friends. The sun was shining bright that time which caused for that moment to be intense hot. But luckily, I brought an umbrella with me. It's a good thing to protect my skin from direct exposure from sunlight.

As I was walking only going to that mall, I decided to stop first in a nearby convenience store to buy a drink. I went in and it is cold, the I went to the walk-in coolers of that store to find myself a cold and fresh bottled drink. After picking, I paid it to the counter then received it. I then continued walking to the mall while I am brining my drink. I've arrived at around 4:02 PM and no sign of their presence, maybe they aren't here yet so I've waited for more than 4 minutes.

Zac and Jolmin arrived outside the mall by around 4:10 PM. I was in the entrance hall of the mall so I got out to see them.

Zac permissioned to take the comfort room for a while as he can't control his peeing. I got the chance to talk with Jolmin 1 v 1.

Confrontation of John to Jolmin:

I confronted Jolmin about him and Lian. I wanted to assure on what's with them or if they have a lowkey relationship. I think I am jealous right now but what important is to know what's with them in order to halt whatever I am thinking.

"Hey man! I'll talk to you first." My first phrase to Jolmin as I placed my hand to his shoulder.

"About what?" Asked by Jolmin while thinking of what I'll ask.

"I noticed you're good with Lian. Are you best friends?" My question to Jolmin while taking control of my jealousy. "Are you thinking we have a relationship?" He asked.

"It's not that but I'm just thinking...."

"Thinking she likes me? C'mon open up. Say what you want to say. I won't be mad." A question of Jolmin where he doubts what I really intended to say to him.

With deep breath, I prepared my tongue to say this but I hope my jealousy won't trigger to avoid saying something stupid. I can do this. I really hope so.

"That's it! I'm thinking everyday, all the time, day and night about the two of you. I can't sleep every night because of that Jolmin. I love Lian so please, don't ever get a glance on her eyes."

I didn't know if Jolmin got offended as he didn't respond.

Then Jolmin opened his mouth and said, "You know what? We're aren't actually best friends. I just approached her one day telling that you're sorry. I could see through your eyes that you have a big problem and I know why. It's because you became weak for Lian. I understand that you're jealous of me but there's nothing with me and her. I'll never do such a thing to stop your love for her. Remember bro, that I'm helping you."

"I'm sorry if I hurt you. I don't have the intentions to break your heart but please forgive me. I believe on you, I believe in you Jolmin. We're good friends." I replied with my voice being minimized as a sign that I'm truly sincere at him by this point.

Then, Jhay and Scafford came. We do see in their faces that they got tired walking. After a few seconds, Bert came along.

Now we're complete, all set for the hang out. First of all we did shopping in clothes' store and the food court of course. I also checked for new published books in a book store and bought 2 worth $30.00 only.

Scafford looked for branded toys for his brother who is at aged 3-4. Meanwhile, Bert just had conversations with Jhay along our conquest on that mall. But while we were touring the mall, we were open minded, telling stories of our past lives. But in my part, I indeed was just silent of everything, I'm just involving myself in some of their talks which I can relate at.

We've enjoyed much our bonding together and I can't believe on what Jolmin said since he's my best friend. Before leaving the mall, we all hugged each other as if we won't see again each other. That is how we love each other. I walked alone going to my house while Jolmin, Bert and the rest were together.

I had enough of those jealous concepts in my mind about Jolmin and Lian since I knew throught the words of Jolmin that both of them aren't close to each other. I hope that works and I'll just concentrate with my own unique moves.
