Chapter 30: The Death

As I am walking home after seeing Lian, it was about 9:30 PM and the cold air whirls all over my presence. It reminds me more of the doubts entering my mind. I was crying that moment for realizing my doubts.

"Maybe I'm not built for love."  I can relate with this excerpt from a song.

Unexpectedly, someone who looked myterious just bumped on my way. I just passed by because I was wearing my earphones and amusing myself through the help of music. But the mysterious person shouted, "John! Wake up."

I got surprised! How did he or she know my name. So I looked at that guy again. And she revelated herself. It was Rose Ann!

"Rose Ann, is that you?" I asked, frightened.

"You look petrified at my presence. Aren't you surprise you found me?" She exclaimed, with joy that I discovered she's not dead after all.

"I'm aware you're alive. And I will never forget the day you killed my heart!" I exclaimed with anger.

Then she laughed, and said, "Well then, it was a pleasure for me to break your heart. Was it gorgeous then? Seeing your life in Hell, being miserable. You deserve that!"

I immediately answered back, with a high pitch on my voice, due to my anger, "We treated you as your bestfriend. I treated you well. I never hurted you but you tricked us. You're a fool who once lived here to destroy other people's lives."

Rose Ann just laughs at me. Then she was looking anywhere, I don't understand. And later on, she pointed a gun to me and she looked at me steadily, while suddenly, both my hands I raised to stop on what she's planning. She said, "Now what? Be careful with your words. You don't know what you are saying. Any offensive word, something will come to an end."

Then someone, wearing a mask, clothed with black garments, came bringing a woman tied up with her mouth covered with cloth. She was wounded.

"Look at her" Rose Ann said. So I looked at the girl and it was Lian. She captured Lian! And Jhay is with Rose Ann? What?

"Jhay, what are you doing?" I asked wondering on what is happening. Confusions arose within my mind unsolving the puzzle.

"You don't know Jhay and me are now allies. Actually, even Jolmin, you're opponent to Lian was my former friend, but don't worry, I already killed him for you because he's useless already. He is a stubborn guy." Rose Ann said.

I still try to understand what is happening. Then Jhay, along with Rose Ann narrated everything.

Rose Ann stated: "While Jolmin was walking going home in Shira street, I saw him and we met. I asked him 'any update or any plans?' And he replied, 'I don't have anymore interests in revenge because I accepted already and moved on Lian is not for me. You should as well.' 'I can't imagine you would be that weak Jolmin' I said. Jolmin replied, 'It's not being weak, it's because of love.' Then Jolmin walked by passing me. Well that made me irritate. I didn't like his answer so I planned on assassinating him. At night, I called him and said, 'Can we meet? I'll be giving something to you?' When he dropped the phone we met after 6 minutes. I gave him my ballpen. He asked, 'What is this for?' Then I picked my butterly knife from the right pocket of my skirt then Jolmin gazed when she noticed I was picking something. I immediately stubbed him while he's looking at my pocket then suddenly, blood spilled from his mouth and fell to the ground. How great is that??"

"Why would you do such a thing?" I asked straightly. "Jolmin was kind. Even though we had tensions. I still treat him as my bestfriend."

"But he deserves it!" Jhay shouted while holding Lian.
