Chapter 27
Me and Anthony looked at each other, worry sketched across our faces. We followed Thaila; we climbed out of the dirt boat hole and came onto land. It looked like we were in a desert, the afternoon sun shining on us, not one hint of a cloud.
I looked around “Where are we?”
Anthony looked around as well, “I think we are either in Nevada or Arizona.”
“Nevada” Thaila pointed out, she then started walking towards a hill.
“This,” Thaila said before we reached the top “Is why I never wished Cyclops were born. I really need to thank my uncle one day for being such a sea horses-“
“Alright Thaila, we got it!”
She looked back a little annoyed not being able to say it, we finally reached the top and my jaw dropped.
There was a huge army of Cyclops, to no end, I stood on my toes and all I saw were grey, green, blue, colors littered over the desert floor. (Which you weren’t able to see.)
“Um…” I started.
Thaila looked back “They should be here by now; I don’t think we have enough people to cover this.”
My eyebrows knotted “I thought you guys only defeated Kronos army last summer with like… thirty demi-gods.”
Thaila looked at me with a ‘I know that stupid’
“Thirty demi-gods, including, an army of Centaur’s, Artemis Hunters, the whole clan of Satyrs, tree nymphs, Hades and his skeleton army, the gods trying to defeat Typhon. Which Poseidon ended up killing, or just sending it back to the underworld, his whole ‘good’ Cyclops army. And that was just a whole bunch of monsters and Titans and we barely defeated them. If Luke wasn’t there no one here would probably be alive. And you really think we would be able to defeat this! With only thirty people? I don’t think so.”
I sighed, “Then what?”
“We should try and distract them until the other half of the Artemis Hunters, come, I only have fifteen of them. So that includes you, Anthony, and me, equals eighteen people. So we probably should wait for the other fifteen of the hunters, Annabeth, Jason, Leo, Piper, Dakota, Gwendolyn, Hazel, Bobby and Reyna. Which by the way, wants to kill you, so that’s nine more people, so that only equals, thirty six, oh, yep, we are dead.”
I shook my head, “Well, if it’s a distraction you want, I and Anthony sign up for it!”
“Wait what!” Anthony yelled.
“Oh stop being such a chicken, it’ll be fun!” I said happily.
“Fun? Like I am going to get killed fun?” Anthony said worried.
“Oh my gosh! Just come on!” I grabbed his hand and started leading him down the hill
“But-“
“Come on!”
We dove for the bottom, when we reached the leveled ground, all we saw were Cyclops heading for us.
“Um…” Stated Anthony “How are we going to do this?”
I smiled a wicked grin, and winked. “Watch and learn.”
I ran a couple of feet from Anthony and raised my arms to the sky holding Cassandra, as the Cyclops came; they smirked at the new dinner.
Then I yelled went eh Cyclops were only a dew feet from me,
“Do not dare come any closer! I have the power of the big three! Who ever threaten or take’s one more step will be burned to ashes and won’t be able to come back for another thousand years!”
